Design could be better - Few surprises worth noting - Good buy overall
Few annoyances with the product:1) the connector/power supply is in the middle so you have 16.4ft of strip going one way and 16.4ft the other way which is a bit awkward and impacts the ideal setup I would have had in mind to neatly keep away the switch on the side rather than being in the middle, first pic attached. It most likely has to be that way as it probably can't fully power 32.8ft of strip at full consistent brightness from one end to the other.2) the power switch is awkwardly designed where both wires are pointing down rather than how I would want it to have the wire that connects to the strip to start from the top of the switch while the wire connecting to the power supply starting from the bottom. It makes it look ugly by having the wire loop around in an uneven fashion, pic attached.3) the wire to the power supply is very short. There was no information on here for how long the wire is, but after measuring my requirements, in order to have the strip at the top of the ceiling, given some wire length is used on going across the wall to the floor where the plug is, you have around 120cm maneuverability at most on having the plug/power supply being to the left or right of the direct underneath. This makes it something that in turn requires an extension cord if you don't have the plug in the optimal space when measuring which area to cover your 32.8ft of strip with power having to be in the middle of it. It would have been so much better if they built it with a long wire so that I can neatly run the wire across the wall instead.4) Alexa integration I rated as a 3. The strip is often unresponsive or delayed by 30 seconds or more to take the command to turn on/off and even for this picture I had to manually turn it on. It's located in the same room as the router and Alexa is not having Internet issues which is right beside it so the issue is with the firmware of the product.Others have noted of some LEDs not working but in my case they are all perfect and proper lights displaying all across. I was very careful to avoid bending the strip during installation and did not turn on the product while it was in the roll as per the caution tape advising that, so I would question those users if they did any of those things.Given everything I see with the product, I am still a very satisfied customer. It's such a great addition to my space, so much so that I am considering to buy 3 more packages to cover the entire perimeter of my room/hallway for a nice consistent look. I just know I will have some awkward placements of switches/extension cords to achieve this given the design setbacks.Given the setbacks, I am very happy with the lights themselves.
