This is a really small form factor flash. It's really a perfect size for a small mirrorless body. I think it's a great compromise size for travel. I use mine on a Sony a7-3. As you might expect, with the smalll size , comes less power. That's obvious by the GN rating.
You're good to use this indoors in small spaces like anywhere in your house. It's powerful enough for a decent size family and extended family gathering inside a small hall with plenty of spaces to bounce. But you'll quickly realise how weak it is when you're used to a full size flash.
I find TTL is a bit strange. It always under exposes flash. 100% all the time it's always deciding very little fill flash. I permanently leave flash exp. Comp. to +1.7. See picture between TTL all auto which is really under exposes..... And I apply +1.7 flash compensation to get fairly decent image balance with flash fill.
The white balance that Sony gives on flash wb is always reallllly yellow with this flash. Not sure why.?
I'm coming from canon system so I'm wondering if this is a third party flash issue....So I've been using just awb .... Better off custom wb .

I love this little flash. Not as powerful as my Nikon SB910 but not by much. I would put the flash output comparable to the SB700. Built quality is adequate. Size is perfect on my A7r2. Not too big or top heavy. Balances well on the camera. Great travel flash because you can almost always find 2 AA batteries. I'm very pleased with the purchase and is still amazed that this flash cost so little. Comes with white cap, carrying case and jels too! Best of all, it also acts as comander for all my godox strobes!
