GoPro Extension Pole is one of the longest extension pole GoPro has made to the date and really a game changer and versatile accessory. It extends from 10" to remarkable 48"(4 feet) without compromising on sturdiness and stability. This accessory is ideal for capturing dynamic shots with creative angles as well as bird's eye view shots. Pole is also great in capturing large group activities.
CONSTRUCTION: Pole is made from light-weight aluminum, and it is coated with rubberized grip jacket. This premium anti-slip grip ensures that pole stays secure in the hand even in wet conditions. Both remote and pole are waterproof. However, I am not sure if the remote will work underwater. As we know, Bluetooth signals do not travel through water very well. I will update the review when I have an opportunity to test it underwater.

Included quick release Ball joint mount provides further flexibility and offers other creative possibilities in keeping GoPro at various angles. This offers further flexibility as you can mount other action cameras, phone mounts or pretty much everything as long as it's not too heavy. It will be interesting to try this along with 360 cameras with such a long stick. Another striking feature is there is another female thread at base which can be used to mount pole on a tripod or tripod base.
COMPATIBILITY: While pole can be used with any GoPro cameras, The box says that remote is compatible with GoPro 11 and 12 cameras. The manual however has a note that says: HERO11 and earlier cameras cannot be connected to the remote and the GoPro app at the same time.
Overall, this is a highly recommended accessory for capturing dynamic shots and unique angles. Even though it is heavier compared to other GoPro poles, it is one of the most versatile poles that features exceptional quality and versatility at great price point. Included accessories such as 360 degrees ball joint, remote with straps, wrist extension strap, mounting finger adapter and wrist lanyard further provides overall great package.
