Fit's perfectly with my 50L trash can. A full bag just fits down the garbage chute with a little effort. Breaking can still happen if you really push against it but even then I've only gotten small punctures and the bag still held up. The end ties work great at tying up the end without getting in the way until you need to throw the bag away.
