Recently picked up an iPad pro and was excited to get my hands on a pencil...until I saw the price.
My Metapen A14 works great and feels very much like the 2nd gen Apple Pencil. It is slightly lighter but the general size is as close as you can get.
All features work as described. Magnet and charging work great, minimal latency and touches are accurate. Palm rejection has worked just fine as well.
The only potential con I can point out is the indicator light on the bottom of the pencil. It is always on when in use or charging. When on, you can slightly see through the pencil, making it look a little cheap in my opinion. A way to turn the light off would be nice but you get used to it pretty quickly.
Overall, I highly recommend this as an alternative to the Apple Pencil.
