Looks and feels great. The included charger is something I wish I had for my Apple Pencil 2.One caveat: the real Apple Pencil is pressure-sensitive, which you’ll probably want if you’re using a drawing app like Procreate. I’ve included a screen capture of a spiral drawn with each pencil in Procreate, where you can see the variation in line depending on the pressure applied. Some brushes vary the darkness, size, or both; many don’t.You could have a lot of success in Procreate with the Ni-SHEN — and at its price point (for what I paid, I could buy five of these for less than the price of an Apple Pencil 2) — so the lack of pressure sensitivity may not be a dealbreaker, all things considered.

When I bought this pencil I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the original Apple Pencil because I wasn't sure if I was going to use it very often and didn't want to drop $200 for something I wouldn't get usage of.

When I ACTUALLY received this version of the pencil, I then used it basically every day lmao! It's been about a week since I received it and it works great. There's been no disconnecting issues, the pencil is low latency, and there's absolutely NO skipping in my pencil lines. Actually learning how to use the pencil has been a learning curve for me, but that has nothing to do with the pencil itself and everything to do with the programs I'm using.

When you leave the pencil attached to your iPad it does go to sleep very quickly, within a minute or 2 I would say, but if you leave it idling sitting on the desk next to your iPad or in your hand, it does not turn off. I've been using it for relatively short sessions, perhaps 20-30 minutes at a time, and can say for a shorter session the pencil's battery life is fantastic, however I cannot comment on what the battery life would be like for longer 2-3 hour sessions.

Overall I would say this product is very much worth it so far.

I have used the first gen Apple pencil with my old iPad and when I upgraded the iPad it was time to change the pencil as well.

This works just as well as the 1st gen Apple Pencil plus it has the button on top which adds single and double tap functions. I am not a heavy user of the pencil, but it works exactly as advertised. The magnetic bond to the iPad is strong and it stays in place. Charging is quick, but I have never run it down to 0% as I keep it stored on the iPad. Angled use of the pencil allows drawing lines to be at different thickness.

It works great and the price is right. Get it!

Having used both first and second generation, Apple Pencil’s (luckily supplied by work for work devices) and finally needing to have one replaced work, replaced it with this pencil. At first, I was unsure if I was going to like it or not, but after just a few minutes of use and discovering some of the things it’s capable of I found that it was a very competitive replacement for the actual Apple Pencil at pretty much 1/4 of the price. I like the pencil so much that about one hour of using this one and I was ordering one for myself as a replacement for the cheaper pencil that I was using at the time. I would definitely buy this over again as a replacement pencil.

I recently lost my apple pencil 2nd gen and i got this to replace it for now and honestly this works rlly well. The pressure sensitivity isn’t very good, especially compared to the apple one. On procreate there was no difference when i pushed hard vs soft. only a difference when i tilted it vs straight on. it is lighter than the apple one (bc its cheaper made) but honestly for the price they are very comparable and if u don’t want to spend $160 for the real thing i would recommend. especially if you just use this for writing notes for uni or smtg. If you want to use this for drawing i would invest in the apple pencil.

This is not a viable alternative to the Apple branded pencil unless you are ok with constantly being frustrated that the Bluetooth connection keeps getting lost and it constantly needs to be reconnected. My Apple branded pencil was always recognized and automatically connected without needing to do anything. I used my Apple branded pencil all the time because it was so easy to use with no issues. This one I dread needing to use because I anticipate the frustration and inefficiency of getting my writing task done. I really wish I hadn’t lost my Apple Pencil… and I also wish I hadn’t bought this as a replacement. It’s so irritating to use it borders on unusable.
