Classic stuff always makes flies float. Best you can buy. Personally use it regularly and go through 3-4 bottles a year

What can I say? Gink is the world’s best dry fly dressing, and they’ve earned the right to state it on the bottle. Could be a bit cheaper, but I can’t get it locally so I’ll gladly pay a bit more for this instead of settling for an inferior product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best dressing I've ever used.

You've tried the rest...now try the best. Lasts a long time. Easy to use. For those of us who primarily take trout from the surface (it really is the most thrilling), this floatant really works well. It does leave a little film on your fingers, and I question the ethics of putting this stuff in our streams. Get past those two things and this is the real deal.

PS - the company claims that it's harmless stuff. I'll go with that.

So, I looked up gink in the Urban Dictionary. The work "gink" apparently has many meanings. One commonly accepted meaning is "... a crabby, bitter and unattractive... person. Ginks tend to be impoverished, indignant urban dwellers with the same political and social leanings that they had in their 20s, who blame everyone but themselves for their myriad problems, and accost total strangers to air complaints." There's a deeper question to be pondered. How do they squeeze ginks, filter and purify the extract, to make a terrific five-star fly dressing? One can only wonder at the cosmic mystery of it all.
