We’ve always been a fan of both cooperative games and deduction games, so it was little surprise that we fell for outfoxed. The team at department recreation created a game that deftly combines both elements into a wonderful venue for honing deductive reasoning in a non-competitive environment. As you work together to try and nab the guilty fox, you’ll learn some valuable skills such as estimating probability and paying attention to details, as well as the important role that collaboration plays towards problem-solving. Great game for kids!
Bought this game in sale for $18. Played it with my 9 year old and he immediately wanted to play again. He thought it was a bit easy the first time around but we actually lost the second time. It's a cooperative game so we all win together or lose together which is my son's favourite type of game. I like the suggestion on here about marking one side of the dice with an orange sticker to make the fox move if it is rolled to make it a little harder. Also making the fox move 4/5 spaces instead of 3 would help too. I think this game might be suited to younger kids also but that being said my 9 year old who loves foxes really enjoyed it. It's a nice introduction game to cooperative play and deduction games also. Highly recommended by me!

Great cooperative game for my children (age 3-9)! Easy to set up, interactive, some strategy. We modified it to be a bit more challenging by moving the Fox 5-6 steps instead, and have a great time playing this game together.

I played this with my 7 and 4 yr old and they loved it! We were looking for a game that we could play for our family fun nights that my 4 yr old could play with us. It's easy to understand and a quick play (20 minutes-ish). My 4 yr old easily understood what to do and was even moving the fox for us. The kids really anticipated finding out all the clues. There's a little bit of pressure when the fox is nearing the escape so it makes for an exciting and rewarding ending when you win. I would highly recommend this game for families with young kids. I've even heard in a video one mom say that this is a game she doesn't mind playing. We've only played a couple times now but I feel this game will be played on repeat.

We love this game for a lot of reasons but mostly because it's cooperative! Our eldest struggles with competitiveness and a game where we all share and work towards the same objective has been - game changing for our family. Beautiful game, simple but fun concepts, it's the game that you can play and never get bored of! Get it!

Purchased as a gift for my nieces and it was a hit. This is a fun one for kids and adults to play together, and it’s easy for early elementary aged kids to pick up. I got this for my daughter's 5th birthday and it's quickly become her favourite game for us to play. It's an easy concept very well executed. My daughter loves doing the clue decoder and deciding whether to search for clues or reveal suspects, and she's getting very good at deductive reasoning too! A game doesn't take too long and it's different every time thanks to the 16 different thief cards. Very highly recommended!
