The kit provides a decent variety of lures, which is great for a beginner who wants to try out different fishing techniques with different lures. However, the quality of the lures is where I found this kit to be lacking. The crankbaits began to show wear and discoloration after using for only a short while. The soft plastics tore very easily and became nearly unusable after a few casts. The kit is also very small for the equipment that it provides, making it impossible to adequately organize all of the tackle.

The true value of the kit lies in its variety and price point. For someone who is starting out and not wanting to invest heavily in fishing lures, this is a perfect match. But in terms of quality, durability, and organization, there are far superior options.

I am not a pro angler and just starting to put my tackle box of lures together. I don't really know what to look for in lures, but I like that with these I will not have to use live bait. I will mostly be leisure fishing off the lake bank or from my kayak in streams. I want to just fish to get enough to fix my dinner and fill my belly. I saw these were for bass and I do hope to do some bass since that is the thing to do in the south.

1 STAR - Completely unusable, would request a refund
2 STAR - Meets minimum viable product requirements, wouldn't purchase it again
3 STAR - It does what it should, but in a non-spectacular way, I may recommend it, but definitely with reservations
4 STAR - I like it. It is solid quality and delivers as advertised, I would purchase it again and recommend it to a friend
5 STAR - I love it. It meets or exceeds all of my expectations and is high quality, I would purchase it again and would openly promote it to friends
