The AC in my 14 year old car had been getting progressively worse over the last two or three years. It got to the point where it wasn't doing anything.
I knew that my AC's compressor was working and after watching a few troubleshooting videos I began to suspect that my refrigerant was low. I was a bit hesitant to use this because the first point in the directions on the can says you have to completely drain what's left of your existing refrigerant before injecting this stuff. That can be a pretty dirty job, and mechanics would charge hundreds of dollars to do it. I figured the car is old and not worth much, the AC was already broken, plus I'd seen videos and read testimonies of a lot of people who said they used this as a top up solution... so I went for it. And I'm extremely glad I did.
Is a very easy job to do. It takes minutes and requires no tools. Just watch a short video or two so you'll know what to do and look for.
The pressure gauge that's on the hose worked very well. A single can was enough to get the pressure in my system into the green zone. I needed the whole can. If your refrigerant level is very low you may need a second can. The hose and gauge seem well made and they're reusable. I'm definitely hanging on to mine.
My car's AC now blows as cold as it used to. It feels incredible. I'm extremely grateful for this awesome product. It's great when things work exactly like you hope they will.
The fact that this is made with organic compounds is the icing on the cake. I'll be recommending this to anyone I know who's car takes this type of refrigerant.
