Don't let the size of the Fosi Audio BT30D Pro fool you. This set up really brought my KEF 100's to life in my computer setup.

This is my current set up:
Mac Mini M1 -> USB out to a Soundblaster Omni 5.1 -> Fosi Audio BT30D Pro -> KEF 100s and a powered Sony sub.

Build:
The Fosi Audio BT30D Pro is wrapped in an all aluminum casing and aluminum knobs. The knobs are sturdy and there is some resistance to turn. I find that this helps with the ability to really dial in on preferences for bass, treble and volume.

The case is durable and there's quite a bit of weight to it for it's compact size. There's a switch to to power the amplifier off and on. Red light indicates that there is power and the light will turn blue if it's connected to bluetooth.

Bluetooth pairing is easy and there is no password required. This does mean that someone could hijack your speakers but in my case, I'm not too worried. This is in my office setup and I don't have the 4 inch antenna attached since any BT connections I'll be using will be within a few feet.

The connections on the back can accommodate wired connections or banana plugs for the passive speakers and subs. The pre-out is a 2.5mm output. There's also the RCA line in.

Sound Quality:
The sound quality is excellent. It really brought my KEF100's to life. I have the treble gain at 10 o'clock level and bass turned off since I have a powered sub. Volume is great and will also be dependent on what's coming from the SoundBlaster Omni (I have it set to 50%) and use the Fosi to control the speaker volume.

The audio is crisp and clear with very dynamic sound. I can hear details that were never there before which I greatly appreciate. Audio files are from Tidal Master / Hifi and Apple Music lossless. I don't have music testing equipment, but my ears are in love with this set amplifier.

It's a small package that delivers a powerful punch while maintaining high audio quality.

This is my first Fosi audio purchase and certainly won't be my last. I'll probably try out one of their USB-DACs and finally get rid of my 12+ year old Sound Blaster Omni.

It's also important to note that the Fosi Audio BT30D Pro is very efficient. It comes included with a 32 volt power supply and if you need more, you could try a 36 volt power adapter. The amplifier also runs very cool. I had it on for several hour sessions and the casing never warmed up at all which just speaks to how efficient this amplifier is.

I highly recommend the Fosi Audio BT30D Pro!

I'm powering 2 Bose 251 outdoor speakers and an OSD Forza 10 outdoor subwoofer and everything sounds great at the medium listening volume I need in my backyard. And that's with the amp volume at about 25% and the sub volume at about 75%. I'm not sure what that says about the power of the subwoofer part of this amp, but that's the settings that sound good to me. Also, Bluetooth works really well on this amp, but I mainly have it connected to a Chromecast Audio, which clearly has better sound quality than the Bluetooth.

Overall I am quite happy with this amplifier. It has a very clean signal with no popping or scratching when turning the unit on and off or adjusting the knobs. Decent output power although I have trouble believing it is capable of outputting the advertised 165 watts, at least not with the power supply it is shipped with. Bluetooth works well and sounds good, and to disconnect it you just have to toggle it off for 2 seconds.

I did have an issue with the unit I originally received. It had a slight problem with the treble adjustment knob not effecting the right channel, however I had a good experience with Fosi support and they sent me a replacement unit at no cost. The replacement shipped from China in about a week, which is as fast as I can expect from so far.

Fantastic little amp. Excellent sound. Small footprint. Ample connectivity for what it is. My only negative is the Bluetooth connection is completely open and there's no way to stop people connecting without powering down the amp. This may be a problem in some apartments and could be extremely obnoxious in college dorms or other living situations like that.

This is a brilliant amplifier for its size. I was not at all expecting such tremendous output from this amplifier. First of all make sure you are not going to connect speakers which requires crazy power input before going through the TPA 3255 data sheet. whatever impedance your speaker offers, check it against the data sheet of amp chip to keep the THD within 0.1%. Absolutely no shrills or distortion even at high volume and the frequencies are as clear as it can get.. the bass treble and mids are equally loud and clear. I would say the music is rich .
I am using 2 diy bookshelf speakers demanding 47w per channel (woofer + tweeter) power input and nominal impedance of 8 ohms per driver. Boy the output is marvellous, the thing goes really loud. For those interested, I am using Dayton Audio DC130A-8 5-1/4 Classic Woofer Speaker paired with Hivi T20 textile dome tweeter, with 1st order butterworth crossover at 4000 Hz. I highly recommend this amplifier. Just dont overkill the speaker wattage and enjoy audiophile quality music.
