I am a little suspicious of the wristband and how long it will last, however, I am assuming that spare wrist bands can be purchased separately. So far after one week of continuous use it seems fine.

I have been a FitBit user since 2015 and I've had the charge and Versa 1-3. This is my first time having a sense. I got the sense as I am having concerns with my heart since being infected with covid and liked that it had an Afib alert and stress management (I'm a MSW student in my final year so pretty stressed).

I love the stress alerts it has helped significantly with managing my anxiety and stress as it gives me reminders to chill out for a second which is what I really needed.

Knock on wood no Afib alerts, but this has helped me get a cardiologist appointment as I'm constantly tachycardic at rest and it's fairly accurate as it showed at the doctors office with a manual check off by maybe 1-3 beats each time. Again really accurate to the doctors visit and the electronic blood pressure machine that I have.

The issue with it and I think it's a problem with Google acquiring FitBit is that there are service outages there was a huge one in October for 72 hours nothing synced and disconnected from my apps I use with it like MyFitnessPal. The weather app that is apart of this watch often does not sync and requires a full app stop and disconnect and reconnect to Bluetooth on your phone. Sometimes nothing syncs until this is done. I have never had this issue prior.

This is just nitpicky but the body response is often delayed, like I'll have anxiety then I calm down then it tells me 10 minutes later. But on the flipside I'm not aware and it tells me then it helps a lot. There is also not a lot of options or somewhere to log how you are feeling. It gives you a couple of faces ranging from content and stressed, but no option for sick or anxious or anything unless you log a menstrual cycle. There is no option for stating in pain either, so folks who may get a body response due to pain there isn't anything.

Other than that I do really like it, but if you don't need to monitor your mental health or heart as closely opt for a versa.

Purchased on Jan 12 2023, started with it on Android and happened to switch back to iOS in April, and it started to break and not work in June, returned it under warranty for a replacement in July.

It was great on android when all the features were unlocked through the free trial for premium, as soon as that stopped it pay-walled the majority of features and didn't make the watch worth it in my opinion but I still would have continued to use it on IOS if it didn't break.

About a month ago multiple things started breaking, the automated exercise detection stopped working entirely, and the touch screen would stop responding randomly. So you would start an exercise and then not be able to end it till it started working again, the physical button will pause it but then you have to end it still via the screen.

And looking back, it would lose the heart rate monitor constantly while working out and sweating, I tried keeping it looser, tighter, wiping it, nothing had great results... it really seemed hit or miss depending on the day. Seems like the one thing a exercise monitoring watch should get right....

The payment system never worked at all the entire time I had the watch, either the native Fitbit one or google wallet when they rolled that out a few months ago. But both my iOS phone and old android had no issues with tap pay.

Their customer service is absolutely terrible. One of the main reasons I went back to iOS was after having to deal with Samsung Customer Service, but some how Fitbit seems to have one-up'd them in the crap department. They will disconnect the chat constantly, they will ignore what you say, and they won't follow-up.

It took weeks to finally get the return airway bill to send the watch back to them. Maybe it was better before Google took over, but I will never buy another Fitbit again after having dealt with them.

If it had not broken, I would have continued to use it till I found something else or if I had stayed on Android but at the end of the day why would I want to pay $105/ year when I can get an apple watch with all the same features and not have a subscription.

After having my Sense 2 for a months, I decided to return it. I was not happy with the fact that the watch did not sync consistently with the app. For example, on the main watch face, there are places for sleep score and daily readiness score, but these were often blank, even after making sure the app was synced. Also, there are fewer features than some of the Versa models. The Sense 2 does not work with Spotify or Starbucks, whereas some of the Versa models have many apps like this that can be used on the watch. Also, the only Canadian Bank that works with FitBit Pay is RBC, which I do not use. The Google Wallet app never worked for me, and not everything works with iOS (Google Maps was just added). I did like the fact that I could get notifications on the watch and take calls on the watch…but some (if not all) Versa models do this for far less money. From what I could tell, the Sense 2 had two features that other Fitbit watches do not: ECG and the Eda sensor for stress. It was not worth the extra $150-200 for these two features, so that is why I will be going with a Versa or Apple Watch.
