It works but not perfect
The beam emitter reflects along the body of the finder when used under the stars. A quick fix is to just wrap an elastic band around the finder- just in front of the beam emitter. Just an annoyance. The Cenestron original angles the beam emitter upwards to avoid this.

It really simplified setting my telescope up! Waaay easier than using the spotter scope by a country mile.

Very sturdy and nice tight adjustment. Great product. They are a touch too bright but still very happy with them.

The finderscope is bigger than it seems in the picture. It didn’t fit,my national geographic sky assist 102,So I had to remove the base and replace it with the finder scopes base that came included with my telescope. Its red dot brightness is pretty good though. It almost looks like a laser with a sort of red light trailing behind the dot instead of just the dot.
