Frequently Asked Questions About FertiliTea?
How Often Should I Drink FertiliTea?
Some things about trying to conceive don't have to be stressful. Take a few minutes to relax and treat yourself to a couple of cups of FertiliTea every day. Enjoy it hot or cold! FertiliTea is naturally refreshing and delicious without any artificial sweeteners, sugar or stevia, but feel free to add a sweetener of your choice if you desire.
What are the Benefits of a Loose-Leaf Tea?
A loose-leaf tea ensures maximum freshness, flavor and, most importantly, nutritional support. Herbal tea leaves need room to expand in order to properly transfer all their nutrients. Our airtight, vacuum-packed, light-proof bags keep tea fresh for up to two years and contain no glues or staples that are commonly used in teabags. Use a tea ball to infuse the tea in a cup, or make an entire pot of tea and store it in the refrigerator for later use.
Is FertilTea Organic?
To make FertilTea, we source only certified organic and wildcrafted herbs. What is a wildcrafted herb? Good question. Long before herbs began to be cultivated through farming, herbalists foraged for edible and medicinal herbs in nature, allowing herbalists to collect the herbs during their natural season and at their highest potency. Wildcrafting, as this practice is known, is still alive today. For example, the supply of organically grown Lady's Mantle is not sufficient to meet the demand, so we instead source wildcrafted Lady's Mantle - picked from its natural habitat.
Is There Caffeine in FertiliTea?
FertiliTea includes Green Tea, an herb rich in antioxidants that contains a very small amount of caffeine. The amount of caffeine in one cup of FertiliTea is equivalent to 1/60th the amount of caffeine in a regular cup of coffee.
More About FertiliTea Key Ingedients
Vitex Agnus Castus, commonly known as Chasteberry, is the herb many women reach for at the first sign of gynecological troubles. Vitex has been used medicinally for several centuries to relieve the symptoms of PMS, to restore regularity to the menstrual cycle, and to balance the hormones that impact reproductive health and fertility. Vitex is believed to work by acting on the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, both of which secrete hormones or send signals to other parts of the body to trigger the production of reproductive hormones. Vitex has been shown to help increase the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) while gently suppressing the secretion of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). Vitex is also believed to maintain healthy progesterone levels, which is especially important following ovulation - or during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. Vitex's impact on progesterone may help lengthen the luteal phase for women who experience a luteal phase that is too short. A short luteal phase, referred to as luteal phase defect, can be a reason women have difficulty conceiving and/or maintaining a pregnancy.
Red Raspberry Leaf, championed as the "Women's Herb" since the late 1500s, is recommended for all things female, from period cramps to morning sickness during pregnancy. It is highly regarded for its ability to tone the uterus and the muscles of the pelvic region, which is helpful in preparation for pregnancy and childbirth. Red Raspberry Leaf's ability to act as a uterine tonic is attributed to its astringent (meaning, to cause contraction) activity, as well as the presence of the alkaloid fragarine in the plant, an active compound that helps to both relax tense muscles and to tighten muscles that are too lax. The tannins in Red Raspberry Leaf give it a taste similar to black tea (minus the caffeine!), and, along with flavonoids in the plant, provide antioxidant support. Also, Red Raspberry Leaf is naturally high in several vitamins and minerals, including Vitamins A, C, E, the family of B vitamins, magnesium, potassium, and iron, which are all nutrients that you need on board to support a healthy pregnancy.
Green Tea comes from the plant with the botanical name Camellia sinensis, and is most well known as a rich source of potent antioxidants called polyphenols. Polyphenols are supportive of reproductive health by helping to prevent oxidative stress, and thereby protecting egg cells from the damaging effects of free radicals.
Lady's Mantle gained a mystical reputation among early herbalists when it came to be believed that the morning dew that formed droplets of water on the leaves of the plant had the power to turn regular metals into gold. In more modern times, it has become known as the "Happy Uterus" herb, and it is often recommended as a “tonic” for the female reproductive system that can be used to relieve menstrual pain, cramping and heavy bleeding, and to tone and strengthen the uterus.
Nettle Leaf, also called Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) is a natural diuretic and detoxifying herb that helps your body rid itself quickly of toxins. It has both astringent and anti-inflammatory activity, and is therefore recommended for relief of PMS symptoms and menstrual pain, and provides a toning effect on the uterus. It contains several nutrients that are critical to good reproductive health, including Vitamins A, C, D, K, potassium, iron, and polyphenols.
Peppermint gives FertiliTea a delicious flavor and has the added benefit of serving as a sexual stimulant.
Lady's Mantle - the Happy Uterus Herb A healthy and strong uterus is a happy uterus! As you prepare for pregnancy and then childbirth, give your uterus the love it needs to be ready to stretch to accommodate the growth of the baby, and then contract during labor and delivery. FertiliTea includes herbs traditionally used to strengthen and tone the uterus: Red Raspberry Leaf, Lady's Mantle, and Nettle Leaf. These herbs are known for their astringent activity, which help the uterus contract and then relax as needed. These herbs also have anti-inflammatory action, which can be helpful for alleviating menstrual pain and cramping.

Je l’ai prise une semaine avant mon ovulation et durant.
J’ai attendu deux-trois jours âpre ma date prévue et mon test était positif.
Ps : le mois d’avant j’avais fait une fausse couche
I get migraines after using it and I got bad cramps almost like when period is about to come but I just got off period. Anyways I guess the tea is doing its job and I will continue using it and I'll keep praying . Hoping I'll get some good results and hopefully a baby 🙏

I have had numerous miscarriages back to back and wanted to try one more time before I threw in the towel.
My last miscarriage was 12/2020
I changed a couple things so this COULD BE A COINCIDENCE.
-I began taking 5,000 iu vitamin D every day because my levels were low. I started taking this vitamin 12/2020 after my latest loss. We began baby making in January per drs advice and failed to get pregnant every month.
-I drank this tea ~2-3 times a week (much less than they recommended) starting a few days after I got it (March 25th ish). AF arrived on time 4/2 and occasional baby making occurred... we were actually quite busy this month and my husband had gotten a new promotion, so I wasn’t expecting anything to actually take BUT...
I got pregnant immediately. I am currently 5 weeks pregnant.
Now I could definitely still miscarry again since I’m SUPER early in pregnancy. But I will also say that I feel like absolute HOT GARBAGE. The fatigue and morning sickness are kicking my behind and with my miscarriages I had little to no symptoms.
I’m having a second set of bloodwork done some time today (if you’ve had miscarriages or issues conceiving you’ll know what I’m talking about) and I will definitely update this review with the results (good or bad) so far my doctor says labs are looking pretty good but I’m too early for an ultrasound.
Again, this does not mean this tea works BUT it definitely does not hurt to try it either!
It also tastes great. Only reason I didn’t drink it as directed was because it’s a VERY fine loose tea and the holes in my little tea defusers were too large so I’d get a lot of “bits” in my tea and I do not like that lol
So make sure you have a diffuser for fine teas if you don’t like “bits” of tea in your tea.
EDIT TO ADD: my 2nd set of blood work came back and my numbers MORE THAN DOUBLED. I am still cautiously optimistic but my fingers are crossed. Will continue to update as time goes on.
EDIT TO ADD ANOTHER UPDATE:
It is now almost August 21st 2021, almost 6 months after I got the tea!!! We conceived our baby mid April and got a positive test 5/4/21. I am happy to report I am officially 20weeks 1day pregnant so far experiencing a healthy pregnancy and feeling baby kicks.
Definitely TRY THIS TEA! It’s $20 well spent for me, I’d buy it all over again in a heartbeat 💓

I have been on Femara already for 3 months, which did not change my BBT trends, my LH surge trends, nor my progesterone levels at all, just my ovulation day (consistently CD17 vs. CD20-CD24 range). This was my 4th month of Femara and my FIRST using FertiliTea.
BBT
Before Ferilitea - Really jumpy numbers before ovulation, after ovulation it takes full week to "creep" up to a top number.
After FertiliTea- Before Ovulation: Steady like a surgeon's hand! My temp was exactly 96.8 for FOUR days (starting the day AFTER I began drinking the tea- I started it around CD9)! After ovulation (same cycle), my Temp spiked like a freakin champ! Took Two days to reach my top number!
Ovulation
Before Fertilitea- I ovulate on CD17 with Femara. For two months I saw I had maybe one Mature Follicle, the other month, my progesterone said I ovulated, but they didn't find any mature follicles.
After Fertilitea-Still ovulated on CD17! But I had 3 FOLLICLES! 21-23 mm! and ready to pop! Tons of cramping and even back pain from them.
LH Surge
Before FertiliTea- I have very mild PCOS (not overweight, no hair growth) but I do get "mini" LH surges every few days starting at CD10, since that hormone is naturally higher in my body. This makes ovulation predictor kits really hard to use.
After FertiliTea- RIGHT away, the next morning, I had very low LH. My level stayed low until CD16 (the day before I ovulated). No "false" Surges!! With FertiliTea I can now use the Ovulation predictor kits without giant line mysteries!
Progesterone Levels
I get my levels tested 3 days after I ovulate (my doctor said it won't be my peak, but they will know by then if I ovulated.)
Before FertiliTea- My Progesterone levels were ~12 (my Dr. wants numbers over 10) 3 days past my ovulation
After FertiliTea- My progesterone level was 24!!! 3 days past my ovulation. Double what it has EVER been! I have never had a progesterone level higher than 12.4 3 days past ovulation!
This is just the first month and I have to wait a week to take the pregnancy test, but I have tried everything to help regulate my LH levels and cycle in general. Juicing, no dairy, no wheat, yoga, new exercise, Vitex, B-Vitamins, I tried them all individually giving each a month or so, and some together. NOTHING works instantly and its impossible to tell if it made any difference at all!
The tea made a difference in just a matter of days. I feel so stupid for not buying this years ago!
Taste: It just tastes like tea. Pretty good if you like tea! I bought this AMAZING tea cup to make the experience more fun and I highly suggest it! Special Design Teacup Tilt Tea Cup Tipping Teacup Personalized Smart Tea Cup Tilt Mug With Tea Infuser (White)

I don't know if it was the Fertilitea, the VitB complex, or just pure luck that I ended up getting a BFP this cycle, but I did think the tea was pretty tasty, and I enjoyed drinking it. I also think that the tea was probably responsible for the dramatic increase in fertile CM. So I hate to sound all cliche, but it worked for me! And I swear I was about ready to write a 1 star review because I was that convinced I wasn't pregnant this month. :)
![](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/S/amazon-avatars-global/default._CR0,0,1024,1024_SX48_.png)
I'm looking for my extreme pain and discomfort to go away or calm some, my period last 5 days with leakage on 6 which is normal but maybe a lighter period would be nice and my moodswings to go away or calm. And for my cycles to shorten is my big challenge.
UPDATE Jan 24 2013
Well I still feel the same but I kept drinking the tea until midcycle and I had midcycle spotting which is unusual for me. So I'm hoping for a BFP. I have a dr appt tomorrow so my dr will test me for pregnancy and I'll see if fertilitea has helped me conceive.
UPDATE Jan 30 2013
OK I don't know if I'm pregnant yet but I have a feeling I am. Well I came on what I thought was the start of my period 2 days earlier. It was brown spotting, this did have pink spotting as well mostly dark brown spotting and it continued until today which is 5 days. A lot of people say that implantation is only 1-2 days but I've read also people saying they had red and heavy and 5+ days bleeding for implantation and had healthy babies as well, so there is hope and every pregnancy and women varies. Today is cd5 and I'm still getting a migraine right now this was happening yesterday and I think since cd1. I'll update whether I get a BFP or BFN. Either way is good because my cycle was much easier hardly any cramps and no heavy or red blood at all. Fertilitea is the only thing I done different this cycle, well besides 2 weeks of exercise.
![](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/S/amazon-avatars-global/ae7f238f-0336-4641-90ef-820f4d215c29._CR0,0,1125,1125_SX48_.jpg)
I am 25, and weigh roughly 155lbs. I have one child who is 3. When I got pregnant with him, I had been off birth control for 18 months. I shouldn't have been able to get pregnant but somehow I did. I was on many different kinds of bc before stopping. I basically just thought I was infertile, my periods were sporatic, every few months or so. But then my son was born. When my son was 2, I had my first abnormal pap. I have pre-cancerous cells which were suppose to clear up on their own, but have not. My OB/GYN wants to do some sort of freeze that will kill off the cells in there now. But he said its not effecting my chances of conceiving.
I am married to a man who isn't my sons biological dad, and I had my IUD removed Dec 7th, 2012. So we have been trying for almost a year and nothing. Quite a few late periods, but no BFPs. So I was perusing around amazon, looking at fertility stuff and came across Fertilitea. I read most of the reviews and talked to my husband about it. He thinks the problem is him and not me. I think maybe its both of us. But he said whatever, its worth a try. If it doesn't work, we'll consider going to a doctor. It took me months to actually buy it. We're pretty frugal so, $15 for some tea that might not even work may not have been worth it. But I earned a $10 gift card to amazon, so I only had to spend $5 out of pocket. I also purchased some Pre-Seed from my local Target.
My husband and I have also recently changed our diet. He has a condition called PKU or Phenylketonuria- meaning he can't process some amino acids, like protein. Which can, in some cases, cause infertility. But I read that eating a certain way can reduce the effects of PKU and boost fertility, so I have somehow convinced my husband to eat more salads instead of cheeseburgers!
So here is my review, I am drinking my third cup as I post this review, so there will definitely be an update as time goes on. But the taste is really good. I can really taste the green tea and a hint of mint. I have also been taking a gummy prenatal twice a day. I track my cycle via an app on my phone. My cycles vary between 30-37 days, occasionally up to 45 days. I am working on cutting down my caffeine intake (My Husband and I live in the Northwest and Starbucks is a staple here, plus I brew our home coffee pretty thick) and my nicotine habit. So thats about all I can post for now. This tea thankfully tastes GREAT and I don't add any sweetener to it. I tricked my husband into trying it without telling him what it was, he too said it was good, then I told him what it was and he spit it out. LOL.
This tea is at least worth a try! Crossing our fingers hoping for baby dust coming our way.
***UPDATE #1*** 12/14/2013
I drank this tea religiously, 16-20oz a day. I made 16-20oz at a time and just sipped it throught the day. I could really see and feel a difference. My Sex drive was up, and my hubby and I were intimate every other day. I stopped drinking this once I was out of my fertile / ovulation zone. My hubby and I are now in the 2ww. According to my period tracker app, I'm due 12/23. If this helps me get to a 28 day cycle, then I'm due 12/19. I'm really antsy and want to take a test, but we have decided that we are going to wait until 12/24 if AF doesn't show up. I am afraid that I'm psyching myself out, but during my fertile time there was something definitely going on in my lady parts and all the research I've done on ovulation and conception was happening, so I'm praying and keeping my fingers crossed. I will update again after the holidays. =) Baby dust and sticky stuff to all of us.
