Very good basic protection for your electric guitar not for anything like a Firebird,Flying V,or a Warlock, type style but good basic protection for like travel on the bus to lessons and or gigging in say open mic type ,not for air travel it's not the right type of case

I still have an old Fender gig bag I got with my bass guitar 20 years ago. My dog chewed up one of the straps when he was a puppy many years ago, but other than that, it's still held up throughout most of my playing life from amateur to pro back to amateur. This bag, like my old bag, is an entry level bag. It's not terribly uncomfortable on my back. It's thin, but cushiony. It's not as good as my old bass guitar's bag though. I didn't have a padded bag for my electric guitar though and this is good enough that I don't feel the need to get anything nicer.

I got this economy bag for my wife's Ibanez JEM-JR. It fits well, albeit a little tighter than I want it to be at the top of the neck. This bag will never see "gigging". It's main purpose is to keep the guitar clean, dust free and slightly protected while it sits in its rack. For this purpose, it's perfect for me. 5 stars for the bag itself (note: my Epiphone SG will fit in there fine too).

Minus 1 star for price point. At $39.99, it is significantly higher than my usual go to vendor for musical instruments for virtually the same Fender guitar bag (different color embroidered logo). Or, that $39.99 price point will get you a much better quality bag also made by Fender from that same vendor.

Highly recommend the bag for light duty use. I'll adjust the star rating if the price improves. Shop diligently.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very thin, tight fit, Econo guitar bag

This is the smallest guitar bag I've seen. It's part of the "Econo Line." It has very little padding and my Strat barely fits. The zippers are fine. It has small storage pocket for extra strings and picks. The backpack straps do not have any padding on them. This is a very minimalist guitar bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking padded case

As long as you have reasonable expectations for what this bag is you will be very happy. Its basically for storage and transportation, but its not for protection. So remember those specific terms as this is a soft case and it is padded, but its not meant for impact or drop protection. If you are a Fender fan then you also get that cool logo and you can feel good about that if brand advertising is your thing. This is a great way to store your axe and keep it from getting covered in dust if you aren't using it for a while also. Definitely glad I got it. The zippers are decent feeling and seem like it will hold together for years of use. I'd certainly recommend it to others and also consider getting another one if I needed it.
