Why can't the SATA SSD be recognized after installation?

When using an SSD for the first time, it needs to be formatted and partitioned first. You can use "Disk Management Tool" to format and partition the SSD, and then use it in "Windows Explorer".

Why is the actual capacity of SSD smaller than the advertised capacity?

Because the manufacturer's calculation method is 1TB=1000MB=1000000KB=1000000000B, and the computer system's calculation method is 1TB=1024MB=1024*1024KB=1024*1024*1024B, so the capacity you see is 1TB=(1000*1000*1000)/(1024*1024*1024)TB≈0.93TB.

How to copy data to a new SSD?

How can I know if this product is compatible with my computer?

This SSD arrived within 24hrs of my order. I installed the drive on a 12year old tower desktop. I had the proper brackets to install the SSD in a 5" bay. I had to change the setting on the drive in disk management to Simple Basic and reformat the disk. I then used free Diskgenius to migrate the Windows 7 Home Edition to the new SSD. The desktop has a fairly good CPU but the hard drive was the bottleneck in the system . It took about 1 1/2 hours to complete everything. The first boot took about 25 seconds, but now only takes 10 to 15 seconds. I am not young (75Years old) and had no problems with the installation. I am very pleased with the performance . It is not lightning fast like the new PCs but is greatly improved . I am very happy with the results.

arrived on time accessing the drive was a bit slow for an SSD from day 1 but for the price cant complain issues started on the 3rd month drive stopped showing up in my pc then it would disappear the come back intermittently 5 month in and well its toast it shows up in my pc but cant access it get error location doesnt exist
it shows up in disk management but tried to format same error location doesn't exist requested a warranty replacement from seller waiting on response
will update when i get a reply

UPDATE
seller was prompt to reply with instructions to return the defective SSD and said they would refund the purchase and shipping back to them seller received SSD 2 days later and immediately made the refund
so ill be ordering another SSD to replace the dead one
its nice when sellers stand behind their products i nocked 1 star off for the dead SSD after only 5 month

Here is my evaluation, I bought this SSD on September 22, 2022, and on May 29, 2023 here I am with defective clusters, result I find myself with 650GB lost which included high value data, so I called on the seller, who understood me very well and he compensated me, so as he was very good and very understanding, I decided to give this company a second chance, so I bought the same SSD again for the purpose to encourage the company and the product, so I bought the new SSD on June 13th and to my great surprise when the SSD arrived it was defective, the bios did not detect the SSD and nothing to do after several attempt, when I decided to unplug it from my computer, to realize that the disk gave off no apparent normal heat and perceptible to the touch like a normal SSD after being powered !!
So to conclude that the ssd was already dead when it arrived, it's as if it had no power, I decided to go see a computer technician in my area with the said SSD and voila confirms that SSD is really defective, but this no compensation from the seller.
So avoid this very low-end SSD!
For the same price the TimeTec brand is the best choice for its quality and much more reliable for small budgets, and TimeTec offers better after-sales service and the quality of service and their support is #1, I do not regret my purchase of a TimeTec.
I then give 1 star, and this comment above!

bought 16 of these to run Raid Z 1 with 4 vdevs in a TrueNas scale server rack. was worried that cheaping out on SSDs would be trouble. Right now everything is running pretty smoothly, for now atleast.
