I like these carriers very much, and so do my cats. They are great for taking my cats to the vet, or transporting them in the car, but I would NOT use them for transporting an animal by air, rail, or bus. They are essentially made like a gym bag with some extra plastic piping around the ends. The center is mostly fabric, and collapses when weight is put on it. I will keep them because they are perfect for my needs, but "airline approved" is completely false. They also had to off-gas for 48 hrs, so not "odorless", at least not fresh out of the box.

The sides that pop out can't be placed back inside(they will fall out and basically push your pet close to the inside and have zero room). I bought this because I wanted my pets to HAVE room..not be squished inside!!. So I use it for him to play in and leave the sides out cause I have no choice anyways. Waste of money and it's such a simple thing for the company to have fixed and noticed. I m not happy.
