Love the concept, doesn’t come off, but I had to add additional rubber because the rubber grip part is a bit slippery, and when accelerating I was noticing my phone would slip deeper into the grip, until eventually it squeezes the volume down, and power button, which on an iPhone initiates a 911 call. After adding grippier rubber, with slight notches for the buttons on the phone it works perfectly

Recently rode to Newfoundland and back from (6500km) on my Harley. When I needed to pick up my phone to check the maps or take a picture it was right there and it was easy to pick up and place back down on the tank. Does not stick to white metal or aluminum. Sticks great to the steel tank. As long as you don’t drop the Magnet in the dirt it will not scratch the tank. If you do drop it on the ground wipe it off and you are good to go.

This product is good quality, it holds a phone securely. I only gave this 3 stars because, on my motorcyle the angle the phone is on the tank, makes it hard to see your maps and could be dangerous. If you are looking for something just to hold your phone, and not use maps then it would be better for that.

I’ve owned the freakmount for over a month now. I have mine placed on the tank. I ride every day that I’m able to. It’s been 80+mph, over rough railroad tracks, Michigan potholes… this thing never budged. Seems pretty sturdy.

I would advise to clean the part of your tank off really well before placing in case something could scratch your tank.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the freakmount holds it tightly in place. In fact, sometimes I can struggle to get my phone out because it’s tight.
