Just got this cam and seems pretty nice, pretty simple to setup, with my OCD I didn't want to see any cables showing, I have the 2023 CRV Hybrid Touring and ended up pretty simple running the cables with the plastic tool included. I also purchased the Hard Wire Kit from FOCUWAY which freed up the cigarette lighter for other plugins.

The kit was complete and fairly easy to follow. The USB-C plug that plugs into the dashcam should be the same as what comes with the camera (90°) so that the installed location can be the same. You just need to leave a little more space if you mount the camera high on the windshield. Too close to the header and the straight plug is too long compared to the 90° plug on the camera's cigarette lighter power cord.

The wiring fell apart while trying to install into my fuse panel in my car. They are held together by force only so they are quite easy to break. Also the ground cable is comically short, it's not reaching anything metal to ground the dashcam.
$40 for wires to install a $150 dashcam... This was in no way worth $200, a $200 dashcam would be made of much higher quality materials, and probably have a screen on it.
Don't waste your money on this company.]
Focusway needs to wake the heck up and FOCUS WAYMORE on their product design/quality.
Now they are paying for my return shipping on 2 packages, because they wanted to get greedy and sell the wiring separate. Very brave for a company with a subpar product.
