Incredibly useful. Highly recommended.
This solved a unique problem for me. The wall charger for my new Dyson cordless vacuum was too big to fit into the existing opening in my kitchen storage/shelving cabinets which provides access to the receptacle outlet behind it and are securely fastened to the wall. But the flat plug on this short extension cord fit easily.(FYI: The cabinets are from IKEA's modular Besta system, not their kitchen systems.)Years ago, I purchased a similar product from a clearance or dollar store but those plugs were not flat, they used a smaller gauge wires in the cord, and the overall build quality was dubious. These short flat plug extension cords are more expensive (still reasonably priced) but they are vastly superior.I like the fact that it has a single outlet at the end, instead of a head with 3 or more outlets. that reduces the temptation to plug a tangle of power cords into one wall receptacle, which is a particular fire risk when hidden behind a couch or wall unit where these cords are likely to be used. (If you really insist on doing that, plug a good quality, heavy duty power bar into one of these extensions, and place that power bar out from behind your furniture, so you can periodically check that the power cords are not getting hot or sparking.)Highly recommended.
