How to activate this SIM card is clearly explained. Upon arrival at Hong Kong airport i put this SIM card into my iPhone 13 and turn on the phone. It was that easy!! I got my access to wifi and internet. For those who are not electronic expert like me, your phone does not work as it is in Canada. Only e-mail instead of texting and call through Face time whats up etc work instead normal phone call. Internet access was smooth, but you have to have an access to WiFi (airport, hotel, coffee shop etc).I bought a 15 day card for 10 day travel to China and Japan. It worked without any trouble only if I had a WiFi access in HongKong, Putian and Xiamen in China and Tokyo, Japan. In China WiFi access is limited at Hotel, Airports and train stations, but in Japan there are many access spots (MacDonald is my preferred place because there are power outlets and wifi access).

We were travelling in Italy. This sim card did not work after we installed it when we arrived. We contacted the live-chat line for help. They were very slow to respond to our texts. There was no one to talk to. After 37 texts, over 10 hours, they got the sim card to work for one day, then it stopped working again. My brother-in-law had the same sim card. His worked from the start, however it was not reliable and working intermittently and he often did not get service. Do not waste your money on this. I kept my Canadian service (very expensive roam fees) however, it worked flawlessly throughout the trip.

The Korea 10 day card worked perfectly for the 3 days I was there. The Japan 7 day took all the troubleshooting plus manually adding the APN to get working, and then randomly stopped working a few times for periods of time - one of those would have left me stranded since it happened while trying to catch a train back to the hotel except luckily I had the wifi info of a nearby business I could get to and stand infront of to get internet again. Tech support was slow to respond at times (~2.5 hours).

Ich habe die Karte im Flugzeug nach Peking ins Handy gesteckt. Nach der Landung hatte ich am Flughafen sofort Netz (5g). Whatsapp, google, google maps alles funktioniert einwandfrei auch ohne VPN. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man nicht sehen kann, wieviel Datenvolumen schon verbraucht sind. Aber eine kurze Whatsapp an den Kundenservice und mir wurde innerhalb von wenigen Minuten mitgeteilt, wieviel ich verbraucht habe.

Super Karte. Einfacher geht es nicht. Unverzichtbar für meinen China Aufenthalt!
