Cute idea
Easy to write on with a piece of chalk or I suppose you could use a washable paint marker. Not sure if it was the type of chalk I had, but after I wiped it clean there was a faint shadow of the words left on the sign. I had to go back and buff them out. You don't get two signs, as I thought. The first day information is on one side of the sign and the last day information is on the other. As a parents, I really like that this sign doesn't give out a lot of personal information. Parents typically post pictures of their children with these signs on social media and it's never a good idea to give out too much identifying information (eg. name of school, grade etc.). A very cute idea to document a first and last day of school.
