Low action.
Depending on the ukulele, we like to set the action at 2.5mm to 3.0mm in height. This is the distance between the strings and the 12th fret. If the strings are too high, the instrument becomes uncomfortable to play. Nova U action is between 2.5mm so that we can play it comfortably.

Great instrument, wrong color
I got my daughter a little toy guitar woth 4 strings that she absolutely loves, so I figured I'd invest in something a little better thst actually keeps in tune, and I can use when I want to as well.That said, this is a great little instrument. The tuning was way out when it arrived, but thsts pretty standard - was really quick and painless to tune and it stayed in tune nicely so far.I originally ordered the blue one, and the box that came in (see pics) said it was blue, but the one in my box was white for whatever reason. Unfortunate, but the instrument still functions the same way.Visually, it's really nice to look at, and the resonance is actually really nice as well given the size of the holes. I kept the low string tuned down as opposed to an octave up so you really notice the lack of tension on that string (just a personal preference), but tuned to a standard tuning, the tension is great.Overall this is really solid and sounds great! Really nice place to start for a beginner or introducing the kids to different instruments.Solid 8/10 for me, because the I was sent the wrong color.

It is cool-looking, it sounds exceptionally good for what it is, it’s fun to play, it is well-made (except for the stickers on the fretboard…one of which I already had to re-glue because it fell off…Lol), it is low cost, and it gets attention.
I would have preferred this concert size to have electronics, which I can no longer seem to find on this model anywhere. I wanted to gig with this Enya!
Only time will tell if the plastic frets wear down as others have mentioned. In the meantime, I am going to enjoy the heck out of it.
As long as you realize you’re not buying a professional, high-quality ukulele, you will not be disappointed!

Kurz zum Hintergrund: Meine Frau ist keine Expertin, spielt allerdings seit einigen Jahren regelmäßig und hat daran große Freude.
Was gefällt ihr an der Ukulele gut:
- Optisch sehr schön gestaltet
- Fühl sich "hochwertig" und gut verarbeitet an
- Satter und guter Klang
- Praktische Tasche
Da wir keine "Experten" in Sachen Ukulelen sind, können wir über die Feinheiten und Unterschiede zu anderen Modellen nichts schreiben. Für uns als "Einsteiger" ist das Gerät sehr schön und meine Frau hat damit große Freude.
