The magnet is too weak to support larger phones. A simple drop while using the wrist tether resulted in a drop to the floor approx. 3 out of 10 times. Not an acceptable risk considering the cost of a new phone.

I needed a wrist strap solution for my Apple iPhone 15 case, which is open on the bottom and therefore not compatible with the usual tether tabs that extend from the charging hole. Although no magnet will be as secure as an adhesive-held wrist lanyard, this seems like the best alternative. It comes with both wrist and neck straps, but I wouldn't leave it hanging from the neck strap without holding onto it, too. That said, it's a strong magnet, so I'm probably being overly cautious. The strap thicker and softer than typical lanyard cords, so it's more comfortable than others I've had. I recommend it.
