This lamp/radio is one important item to have to be prepared for an emergency or on a camping/boating trip.
When necessary you can charge 5000 Mah power bank in the unit using the solar panel or the hand crank, although both will take more time than is useful except in an emergency, best charging is by using the 5v charging cable.
The unit is lightweight and compact design combining a radio, lamp, flashlight, ports for ear phones-USB output and charging port for 5v AC. Charge the 5000 Mah power bank.
Volume and sound quality is amazing for such a small radio - with the addition of emergency lighting and sound beacon makes it amazing for the price
The lights are very bright. The flashlight projects a good distance to see your way and by flipping up the solar panel there is a light bar to use for reading. I charged the unit and turned on the flip up lamp on high and I had light for 17+ hours and the radio on for 3 more hrs and the flashlight still worked. Both lights have two brightness modes controlled by repeatedly pressing the button for each. The emergency alarm is very loud similar to a house or car alarm. The single red LED that lights when the alarm sounds is not very bright and may not be seen at an adequate distance.
The unit will also run on 3 AAA batteries which will keep the radio working for about as long as any other radios of similar type.

-hand crank and solar panel to maintain charge of the internal battery
-able to recharge your cell phone enough for emergency use call
-build in radio with WB and very loud speaker
-the SOS light and very loud alarm is a must have in case of emergency
Cons:
-not having the 2A power adapter supplied (extra $12 for 2 from Amazon)
-it took 5 hours to recharge internal battery
-you would need to continually turn the crank to keep the radio or light working if the battery is dead
-tuning the radio is difficult because he seek only goes to the next receivable station, you have to keep pushing button
Despite using the solar panel and hand crank only as a last-resort, this is a great little radio for home or outside.
