I am a new guitar player, and I ordered these to connect my guitar to a puddle and it turns out they were the wrong type for this. TRS (tip-ring sleeve /the double ring on the cable tip) will not work properly connecting an instrument to a guitar pedal as it will not power the pedal properly.
This product page says all over that it's good for electric guitars and that's not really true. For electric guitar to a pedal, you need a TS 1/4 cable, not a TRS. These work from my pedal to the amp, or from the guitar to the app - just not from guitar to pedal.
