While this is a tri color laser the beam can be bright, having said that the brightness will not reach proper large venue Laser show calibre without having a license or restricted use. Like any laser precautions, but since this is a moving light beam it's fairly safe. Keep in mind this unit does not have a programmable shapes or drawings, they are fixed and rotate between modes. It would be great to have a software programmable mode but I'm sure many will do a DIY, which brings to mind this units versatility for no frills lights use or a tinker nuts dream.

Information trompeuse!!!! Lorsque l'on regarde le manuel d'installation, on doit l'installer de facon à ce que les lumieres projetent à 3 metres du sol au dessus des gens. Dans le livret il est ecrit: Illegal de les diriger vers les gens. = les videos sont une mauvaise representation. Pour une fete d'enfants, comme il est inscrit que la lumiere peut faire des domages irrevocable et soudains aux yeux, c'est un tres mauvais achat. Le retour n'est pas sans frais en plus (12$) c'est de l'abus... si l'information avait ete clair avant l'achat, je ne l'aurais pas acheté...

Great advanced dmx features for a small space

I use this for amature light shows. I bought one to try and soon got a second unit. I skimmed through the automatic features which seem nice but I was after some nice beam/fan effects and it has some nice ones. I needed effects that could be used directly over people without risking their eyes. The 43 channel dmx mode has a lot of variable options that drive these effects from multiple channels so options seem unlimited at first. I like that you can set exactly where the beams go to keep it safe. The colors are very nice even though the yellow dosen't stand out from the green but it's ok. Also this unit is quiet, I have not ran it in a silent room but I have never heard the internals. Some lasers are just plain noisy.

The manual is decent but could be more thourough on sub definitions for a couple of fx channels. You just have to spend some time going through it and map what you like as you go. Some channels change per each dmx value so there are a lot of options. Keep in mind it's not super bright so I would limit to somewhat small areas.

Overall this laser is a tremendous value at this pricepoint. Its plug and play if you wanna use the remote and packed with features if you are running on dmx.

This is a cracking piece of kit. Only niggle is that it only included a single remote.

We use two of these and a smoke machine with lights to create an ersatz nightclub in the kids rec room. The effect is outstanding when used with smoke, but be careful if you have smoke alarms.

The machine genuinely performs in response to the music bpm using just the built-in mic. And we have not begun to explore the DMX link. The animations are a real step up from just flashing coloured lights.

You can also adjust/rotate the images depending on how your unit is mounted. We started on tripods but are now mounting them permanently to the ceiling.

I am hard pressed to think of what else would offer this bang for the buck. They are great value for money.

The Ehaho DJ Laser Lights arrived and it was NOT what I was expecting! In a GOOD way!!! I was blown away at the quality of this little dynamo. When I turned it on for the first time, I was mesmerized. No kidding... mesmerized. The quality of the animations is superb. There are so many animations of real things like an airplane and a dolphin. They even have full animations like an Eagle flying and then landing on a perch, then flying off again. Plus, there are tons of geometric animated patterns as well. I'm just a grandma but there are professional options where you can attach this to other DJ equipment to create even more awesome results. I will be taking this to the patio on Summer evenings and projecting this on the huge screened wall of my pool cage. That should make for some great visuals for night swimming. Just remember to bring it back inside when you are done. Make sure to keep it far from the pool. You wouldn't want it to get wet. It is made for indoor only.

I cannot say enough about how easy this is to use and the "WOW" factor is off the charts! I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
