Simple but effective protection for the back camera lenses with a raised ridge preventing inadvertent scratches. The case is described as being of military grade; I think that I will avoid testing of this feature if at all possible, but it appears that the case will protect against drops and falls. I'm looking forward to putting it through its paces, with due regard for the price of the 13 Pro Max. Oh yeah, that I get to enjoy the color that I chose is an added bonus!
