This is a great little compact phone when you don't need all that overpriced 'smart" stuff that will be obsolete in a few months. Good old fashioned communication device ! Picture quality is low and the battery cover is poorly attached. Had to tape mine on but this is minor. Well worth the price.

I have had this for 2 wks and the only complaint is the very hard to open back cover and useless MMS. A good flip phone. The back cover will never come off by itself, almost returned it because I could not open it and did not want to break it.

I opened it by carefully by applying some pressure, using a thumb on each backside, slightly back and forth, (NOT right in the middle), and gradually it started to open. Don't pry it open, that will result in the small inside centre piece of plastic snapping off and you need that to hold the back in place. Put in sim, 16 gig sd card and battery, slide the back cover on and you are all set.

Press the flashlight button to bring up the outside screen to see if you missed a call or msg. A nice feature is you can set it to record your calls, recieved or made, for the times you are given driving directions or doctors results, etc..(save to your sd card ) Wish it had an extra battery, because I tend to keep my phones going for years.

( asked for an extra battery and this is reply from seller: Since the battery of the Easyfone Prime-A1 Pro 4G mobile phone is customized, sorry you cannot buy it on Amazon or electronic accessories stores. But don’t worry, you can get it from us.
We can send you a new battery from China for free and you can use it as a spare battery if needed. )

They want my personal info to get this battery, I said no, will update later.

We bought this for my 6 yo daughter, We didn't want to have a device with Internet so based on the review we decided to buy the Easyfone Prime-A1 Pro.

Pros :
- Easy to understand and use
- No browser / No internet
- Flashlight
- Good sound
- Toy camera (not very good quality, but she has fun with it)

Cons :
- MMS settings are challenging since they do not map well with Android and iOS MMS settings
- EGPS feature work very rarely even outside in a clear area under perfect blue sky. We tested that the data was working (MMS) (if the seller see this and has an idea on how to fix it, please reach out).

Tested in Canada with Fido and Petro-Mobility sim cards

I love the big buttons, and I love the fact that I get to show off this honkin' big red brick of a phone (I even get to pretend that it's a "harmoni-phone" when I perform Blues songs at karaoke).

But it is stupid.

SOME of the things about this FAR-FROM-EASYPHONE that I can't stand are the broken English instruction manual; the broken English prompts on the phone; the fact that I have to hit a million buttons to change from lower case to upper case and vice versa in when I enter names in my contacts or in mid-sentence when I text; the fact that I can't view my IN and OUT messages in one spot (instead, my INBOX and OUTBOX are separate entities, even when messages are to and from the same person); the fact that I cannot receive multimedia messages; the fact that, instead of selecting one day to add a weekly event on my calendar, I have to DESELECT other days; the fact that, when I want to change the volume setting of something, I have a three-second window to do it; the fact that it flicks back and forth from "chatr" and "Rogers," so if somebody calls while it says "Rogers" it goes to voicemail; AND THE MYSTERY BEEPS IT GIVES ME AT LEAST TWICE A DAY, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE READ ALL OF MY MESSAGES.

There are more stupid things, but these are the top ones.

If at least many of these things do not make sense, it is because they don't. I have had this phone for four months now, and it is a joke--good thing I have a sense of humour. The only thing more inconvenient than this mentally-delayed phone is the inconvenience of dealing with a return and refund through the mail (been there done that in the past and do not wanna have to deal with that). I consider this a punishment for all of my sins in life. But, like I said earlier, it looks cool. I like props.

I tried really hard to refrain from leaving a review, but the freaking beep has put me over the edge. Even the customer-care specialist who contacted me right away (as if they new that whoever is not a rocket scientist would have trouble with this phone) has no idea why these beeps exist.

I am certain that it is just a matter of time before I just go ahead and by a new flip phone from a legitimate retailer.

This is the about the fifth flip phone that I have ever owned, and THIS IS BY FAR THE LEAST-EASY PHONE EVER.

**December 6 Update: the outer screen just died--stupid phone...I did not even do anything to it. On the bright side, because it is so big and red, more people have been noticing it and freaking out about how cool I am.

***January 5, 2023 Update: I thought that maybe I was imagining it the first two times; however, it did it again last night, and I am positive that this phone has randomly shut itself off three times since I purchased it.

****January 11, 2023 Update: thanks to the stupid calendar on this stupid phone, I am still getting weekly reminders on days that USED to have reminders but no longer have reminders. When I click on the date, I get told that I have nothing scheduled, but I still get the messages. It is time for a new phone...

*****January 13, 2023 Update: I was still putting it off, but I finally just ordered a new phone. It might still be risky, but I had to. I needed the light on this stupid phone, but it would not shut off when I tried to shut it off. I had to turn off the stupid phone in order to turn off the light. In all fairness, after I turned the phone on again, I turned on the light and was able to turn it off--but it is still stupid.

I always read reviews before buying anything and I read all of them for this cell phone. I also check the year the review was posted and many are a couple of years older. Perhaps there were updates since for the negative ones because this cell phone is amazing. I chose this one according to the positive reviews.

The seller has a lot of information on their page if you scroll down you will see the very useful information for common questions. There is a picture of everything that comes with this cell phone.

I love everything about it. The look, the easy to navigate menu. The user manual guide is easy to understand with large enough print, not tiny like others. Most companies don't give a user manual you have to do a search. So many options, everything is covered. I love the outer screen where it shows new calls and messages. I love the size and the case! I searched for a case matching this version and found it.

The customer service is excellent! I had questions and Kiki was very helpful. There is a lot of value for the price. I recommend the Prime-A1 Pro cell phone and the matching case.

I bought this for my husband who is NOT a fan of smart phones. He has voice & data. We got a great $25 plan on FIDO. I also bought a small sim card size data card so he can have picture ID for his contacts. A bit of a learning curve to get it connected to my computer (Apple) to load the pics. It is LOUD. He has no trouble hearing his ringtone or whoever is calling. You can also load a personal ring tone (also on the data disk). The texting is a bit slow (after using a smart phone) which is why I gave it a 3 for Easy to use. The keyboard is big and easy to see. Not the greatest camera but it is a feature my husband seldom uses.
