It’s almost solid, but the downside is that the clamp isn’t designed for my kind of desk. In order for the clamp to be more secure than now, I need to find some sort of metal plate so that the bottom part and rest flat. And every other week when I have to readjust it, I’m realizing that the padding for the top part of the clamp is slowly slipping off. Overall, the product is decent but it’s personally not the best option for my setup.

For the price, I recommend buying this product. However, there are some quality issues with this mic arm. Although the clamp is sufficient, the screw that holds the main base arm in place doesn't hold it well. It can come off easily sometimes in the right angle or it feels a bit loose. Even using a wrench to tighten it, it's still the same. If there was a hole in the base arm for the screw to go in, it would hold in place much better and feel more sturdy. Another issue is the squeaking noise whenever you move the arm. Based off the assumption the arm is hollow in the inside, it makes sense that the squeaking sound also echos and my microphone can catch that audio. I use an AudioTechnica AT2020 for reference, and the audio interface that has a direct monitor feature can allow you to listen the microphone directly. You can hear the squeaking sounds whenever the arm is moved.

Other than that, I have no durability issues and it still works just fine. Had it for almost a year now and it's a much better upgrade than the old cheap Amazon Basics microphone stand. Would recommend for the price!

I needed a mic stand for a very heavy mic (neat king bee) and boy was it difficult to find a stand that would support it. I took a gamble on this one because the "heavy mics" that were referenced by the reviewers weren't near as heavy as my mic but I thought hey why not, I can probably return it if it doesn't work out so I bought it. Let me tell you, it actually was able to support the weight of the mic! It's also not overly expensive, only 5-6$ more then the cheaper mic arms.

I also didn't adjust any of the springs but apparently you can if your set up is even heavier then mine.

This is only my first day trying it so I don't know how well it will hold up long term. I'll update if any major issues arise.

The only thing I suppose is that it's pretty short, but I don't see it as being a problem for me. Just make sure it isn't a problem for you either before purchasing!

It doesn't feel very cheap to me, the movements are silent and very smooth, it will stay wherever you put it, and the extension length is impressive! I'm using it with a Blue Yeti, and the adapter screw fit perfectly. There were also 4 cord organizers included in the box, and the velcro on them isn't very strong, but I used them to attach the cord to the arm, and they fit very snug and help the whole system look much neater. The base clamp feels very very sturdy. I highly recommend this arm to anyone who doesn't have a big budget or isn't doing any professional work/asking a ton from a mic arm. I will be using it for doing virtual meetings as well as personal content, and I'm confident it will work well for me. If there is a chance that the arm might be bumped a lot or roughed around, I would hesitate to recommend this product, simply because you are getting what you paid for, and the cheaper metal would bend if put under awkward/usual force.

Excellent product.
Pros:
. Manoeuvrable. Easily moves in any direction you want it to though I don't tighten the part that slides into the holder.
. Holds a lot of weight. I bought the C01 by Samson and while I don't have a lot of experience it feels like a weighty microphone and the arm handles it no problem.
. Comes with Velcro strips to manage the cables which works very well
. Adjustible springs for heavier microphones which I didn't need despite having a microphone that feels on the heavier side.
. Nice finish.
. Solidly built. Nothing feels cheap or like it's going to break.

Cons.
. Not as nice as some of the higher end models though those options are much more expensive.
. The C01 doesn't fit very well in the shock mount. It's a wider microphone so you may choose to buy a better shock mount such as the one made by Samson.
. The part that attaches to the underside of the mount point is bare steel so you will need to put something like cork on it if you are concerned about the finish it's touching.
. Doesn't come with a pop filter
It's a great arm and the cons are pretty much nit picking. It's great and if you're looking for an inexpensive solution for your microphone absolutely purchase it. Fantastic value and exactly what I was looking for.
