I got these to keep my cats out of rooms with lever door handles - it is easy for them to hang on the lever and open the door. They work wonderfully but the design does not take into consideration a door with some detail on it. You must place it exactly so and therefore the adhesion is not fully on the door because of the bevelled door design- you see in the picture. But only one has come away and I will just find some two sided tape.

It worked great in the beginning but he’s figured out if he hits it just right he can disengage the lock. It’s also a little difficult for the little one to lock it properly. These are definitely a two hand task for locking and unlocking.

The media could not be loaded.
 We have twin 18 month old boys that can now reach the door handles and open doors around the house. These door lever locks put an end to that onthedoors we did not want them to open. I had to install them differently than the normal recommendations due to our split panel doors. Had I installed them according to the instructions, half of the adhesive would not have been attached to the door. Our door levers go up and down to unlock so the way I installed them was not an issue as we never need to "unlock" the lever locks.

Lo compré para ponerlo en la habitación a modo de pestillo y ahorrarme hacer agujeros y fue una gran decisión.
Se puede instalar fácilmente y el pegamento es muy fuerte, al punto que creo que si quiero quitarlo algún día no voy a poder o me voy a llevar media puerta por delante, recomiendo tener cuidado de como lo colocas.
El seguro es resistente, una persona muy bruta quiso entrar con todas sus fuerzas y no pudo, por lo que cumple perfectamente su función.

Y por si alguien tiene dudas, el sistema de abrir y cerrar requiere usar varios dedos, por lo que no es factible que "se cierre sin querer" pero del mismo modo si alguien la cierra no se puede abrir de una manera sencilla, por lo que no ponerla en cuartos de niños o personas dependientes.
