I have this sitting on top of my subwoofer and I think for the money, this probably the best charging cradle.

- The rubber feet or bottom is great for stability, it's not moving around while it's on top of the piano black subwoofer, or wherever you decide to put it.

- It has an OFF switch! Doesn't seem like a big deal, but it's nice to have the option to turn it off and still put your controllers in the dock.
- There are LED's that indicate charging state. It changes colour etc. They are quite nice. However you should note that I don't think the two blue LED's in the front turn off. Not an issue for me, but could be distracting if you have some kind of theatre setup and are watching a movie. Yet another bonus for the off button.
- This is my first charging cradle for the PS5, I mainly got it to keep the USB C connection like new or as long as possible. The charging speed is advertised to be as fast as any other charger, but really it doesn't matter how long it takes as it's probably going to be there for several hours regardless. if I really need super fast charging, I could always plug in the controller. This is an elegant, every day solution for 99% of the time for me.
- There's another version of this charger that is $5 more and includes a plug in charger block. Since I have many charger blocks sitting around, not only do I save a few bucks, but something that was previously sitting in a drawer is now put to good use. Probably overkill as I used a PD charging block, but it wasn't being used for anything else anyway.

Overall, this product is great! No complaints.

So let's start out by saying this is a good charging dock. I have surge power bank that has 2 usb ports, so using that instead of the usb on the PS5, frees up all the ports for wireless headsets. Charge time seems good and the indicator lights are a nice tough. I managed to pick up 2 extra controllers for half of retail price, so have a set in rotation as well.
The only downside I just found about, when comparing to the PS5 charging dock at double the price, is the controller updates. You do have to plug the controllers into the PS5 with supplied cable to do the updates, where as with the PS5 dock, I believe updates are done while on the dock. Big deal? Not to me. Saved money and works just as well. Given that updates aren't often, and I have 4 controllers, not an issue to plug it in. Worth the money for sure.
