Product Description
What makes us different:
No Monthly Fee: When you purchase some doorbell brand, you may have to pay an additional subscription fee over 50 dollar per year. The longer you use it, the more you pay. But the aosu doorbell has 8 gigabytes of built-in memory, so no subscription is required.
(Note: aosu doorbell only has 30 days of free trails of cloud storage, but you don't have to pay for cloud service due to build-in local storage.)
5 Megapixel Resolution: Ensures you get high-quality, crisp images that show more detail without blurring (especially if you use digital zoom to blow up your videos).
Triple Motion Detection: Other doorbells on the market have only one passive infrared (PIR) sensor for object detection. We use both a radar sensor and a PIR sensor plus AI body detection technology, combining the advantages of heat and sound wave sensing to reduce false alarms by 95%.
5g/2.4g WiFi for Easy Connectivity: Follow the steps on the app or get our local phone service (found in the package or user manual) for one-on-one help to complete your connection step-by-step.
Battery/Wired Options: Built-in rechargeable battery and 58% lower consumption for low-power wireless connections, ensuring 180 days of use on 1 charge, or connect to existing wiring for continuous power.
Lifetime Premium Service: Please feel free to reach us with any questions about the product (1. "Login Amazon" → "Your Account" → "Your orders" → "Ask Product Question"; 2. aosu app live online support; 3. Get our local phone service) and we will find the best solution for you.

Size: It is a lot bigger than your regular doorbell or even the Ring doorbells. If you're looking for something small, slim profile, etc. then this is not the doorbell for you.
Battery powered doorbell: Worked surprisingly well considering it was exposed to the elements. It took a couple of months before I had to charge it up again. I live in Alberta, Canada and it weathered well in the March temperatures (dipping down to about -20C. Captured video just fine and clear but there is a lag between you receiving it vs where the person is located.
Wire powered doorbell: Installation was fairly easy and integrated with the chimer in the house really easily. The location of the doorbell is on a 90 degree angle so used the plates that were provided to tilt it so it would point more towards the walkway vs just the front door. Again, captured video fine but there is a lag.
App: The app worked well but I had to get assistance from customer service to get it linked to the Google Assistant but it wasn't difficult to use. Only wish that the voice chosen could be on a more permanent scale instead of having to remember to pick the voice change before answering the person as currently, it's defaulted to using your own voice when you open the app to answer and not one of the other voices you choose. If you're female and want to use the male voice when answering for safety purposes, you have to remember switch the voice before answering or it will be your own voice that comes through first.
Customer Service: AMAZING! I had used all the tilt/angle plates that came with the doorbell but it still wasn't enough (the doorbell is on the side of the house so 90 degrees from the walkway) so I reached out to customer service with a picture of what the doorbell see vs what it should see. They not only responded quickly, they sent me 2 additional plates at no cost and it arrived within a few days. Every time I have reached out to them, they have been very responsive which shows they stand behind the product.
Overall impression: Very good doorbell to upgrade to if you want a camera one but don't want to spend the high cost dollars for it. The doorbell is a lot bigger than others but does what it's supposed to do. The cost is decent for what you get but the best part is the customer service. I would give it a 6 star out of 5 for the customer service alone. Would I buy it again? Well... I already bought 2 but I would definitely recommend if people were asking.

The camera resolution on these doorbells is very good, and the "human only" detection algorithms work--they don't seem to miss anyone, and they completely eliminate false alarms. (Every video clip shows at least one person in our detection zone.) And the notifications are customizable in the app, so you can choose what types of notifications you want to get on your phone, and when. The app is also very easy to use with multiple doorbells, including the option to display a multi-camera feed.
Aosu customer service is also great. I had a potential issue with the battery levels in one of the doorbells. It took a long time to charge, and it also wasn't charging back up to 100 percent at night. Aosu provided a lot of timely technical support to try to troubleshoot, and then eventually sent me a replacement doorbell. The replacement unit works perfectly, and it fully charges up at night when there are few or no detection events. So this is a quality product, and Aosu stands behind it as well.
One possible negative of these Aosu doorbells is that they are apparently slightly larger (taller) than most other video doorbells, so most of the anti-theft/weatherproof cases don't fit around this guy. I tried two that should have fit but didn't, and ended up using aluminum angle iron and PVC corner trim to rig up custom covers to block the overhead sun and rain, and to deter tampering/theft. Based on the overall quality of these units, I'm guessing the waterproofing and operating temperature ranges are fine, but I still wanted to block as much sun and rain as possible (partly to get better video). But I wish Aosu made or recommended a quality weatherproof case that was tall enough for this doorbell. Honestly, there probably is one, but I tried twice and didn't find one, so that was my biggest issue with installing the Aosu Deluxe doorbell.
We've had these video doorbells for a few months now, and we are very pleased we bought them. They're very capable, especially for the price, and they give really good awareness and understanding of who comes and goes around our house on a typical day. As long as the app stays supported, these are truly a 5-star item, and a deal at twice the price. In short, they're smart little security doorbells with great day/night video quality, at a great price.
A few installation notes:
Doorbell power is rather unique. If you are putting this somewhere where you don't have functional doorbell power, you need a 16-24V AC (not DC) 500mA minimum power source. Search for doorbell and/or thermostat power supplies, and you'll find something that works using a standard outlet. I also bought some two-conductor 18 gauge copper (not copper coated aluminum) wire, and the setup is working flawlessly. Depending on how you're running your wires, you may also want to get some conduit and/or waterproof/flashing tape and/or cable trays.
The outside of the Aosu box has stickers that include the SNs for both the doorbell and the home station. Note that there is a separate SN for each, but that the SNs are paired (which matters if you buy more than one doorbell). The SNs are also included on the components themselves, but having the box sticker gives you info on which home station is paired to which doorbell, and this is useful if you have multiple doorbells. So if you buy more then one doorbell, you may want to take a picture of the stickers on the boxes before you throw the boxes out.
Lastly, these doorbells have 5 GHz connectivity, which apparently requires a much more sophisticated and better equipped bad guy to potentially mess with your video door bell (vs 2.4 GHz). This is probably not an issue for most people, but it's a nice feature that you get free. So choose your 5 GHz (not 2.4 GHz) network to connect these to.

Another thing to note. The app gets is a little buggy sometimes. For example, if your Wi-Fi gets reset, restarts or the power goes out. You'll need to restart the doorbell and then the app. Found out this also happens if you add another camera. Not a deal breaker. Work through the start up process and just be patient. On to the good stuff!
The main reason for purchasing this device was the fact that unlike other products out there is NO MONTHLY subscription! It came with very simple to easy to follow intstructions. You have the option of hard wiring to existing doorbell for continuous power or it works on the included rechargeable batteries. And makinig connections the wifi and Fire TV was easy. Being connected to the TV is a nice feature. Just ask Alexa to show me the front door and you're there. Which beats going to look through a peep sight anyday!
Something to note is that you'll need to download the Aosu app to your smart phone for activating the doorbell. The app is necessary for you to recieve notifications and see who is at your door on your smart phone while you're away from home. Notifications are sent when the radar senses someone passing or they are steadily infront of the door. So if you have something crossing the path of your door often it might get a little annoying. You can always mute or snooze the camera if not needed. The image and sound quality is amazing and recordings are continuous as long as there is someone in range. You will see recorded sessions on the app in your phone. You can delete them whenever you like. Additionally, it has a zoom feature which is nice. Best of all being able to talk to delivery people or the neighbor at your door is great. And its' a lot of fun if you catch them by surprise!
Bottom line. This is no brainer. No montly fees. Wi-Fi connected. Works with Alexa. Notifications to your smart phone. Great image quality. Great sound and speaker quality. Did I say no monthly fees?
The battery life is could be better. They seem to last about a month. But there is a lot of neighborhood foot traffic around my place. Mailman, neighbor kids, neighbors walking their dogs etc. which can explain why. However, if you want to avoid having to charge batteries you can still connect it to your existing doorbell power. Or you can schedule when you want the camera to be on. Personally, I didn't want to drill holes into the siding.
Also, if there's an incident you need to save it can be a challenge downloading the videos to your computer. But after I pulled my hair out at the roots I figured it out. Lastly, images on 5k are great when subjects stand still. However, if they are moving farily fast or running it will blur the images. So, if your main interest is in security I would suggest mounting the doorbell in a position where it's not noticed right away. And be sure to turn off the flashing circular light. Also, doorbell has an anti-theft alarm.
So, the bottom line is there's no monthly service fee like other brands. And the camera works great. If for some reason this cam turns into a ghost I will buy again.
Great video quality with zoom in that keeps the quality of picture. Can reduce resolution for better connection speeds.
Simple Zone set up so you can cover just the area you require. Human detection setting is great to stop the recording of cars passing or animals and increases battery life.
The best feature is videos stored to local 8gb card built into the hub which some plugs into a standard socket. This over writes when full and can be formatted if required. Also you can download any of the stored videos to your phone so no need for subscription fees.
You can subscribe for extra features like face recognition for family members friends but not really needed for me.
Night mode can be turned off which was great for the area I live as surrounding area is very bright at night so picks up better without this and keeps it in colour compared to night mode which is black and white.
Good response times for notifications and easy to use app to answer callers or any activity detected.
Battery is good I'm looking at it all the time cos its new so will be even better in the future when the novelty wears off.
Tamper alarm feature that can be disabled when you take it off to recharge.
Overall great product great app and fast delivery and no fees.
Would definitely recommend.
