This is really the next best thing to the reality of playing an actual piano and it has a lot of functions that make it worth the trade for the slight difference in keyboard.Both myself and my husband love the sound and feel of a real piano. Unfortunately we don’t have the space and for recording, a keyboard of this caliber is really necessary.The difference in playing is very slight, you have to have an excellent ear to even catch the slight delay between playing the note and the sound and if you aren’t the one playing, you can’t tell at all no matter how good your ear is.The sound on the keyboard is beautiful 💕 it has good sound on it’s own and it can be hooked up to speakers to fill an auditorium of any size or to headphones so it can be played while my husband is in a zoom meeting!It can also be programmed to have multiple tones and even to have single keys play different chords! It can make a simple piece of melody turn into a symphony with the right adjustments!It also can be made to play as different instruments, many keyboards do this, what I like about this keyboard is that you can program it so only half or only certain areas or keys play as different instruments!This makes it insanely versatile and gives nearly unlimited creativity to someone who wants to enhance a piece of music or compose their own music.It’s easy to record of off, their are multiple methods to plug into the keyboard with from cords, USB, thumb drives, MP3 players etcThere were two surprises when it came in, I kind of thought it came with the bag it was shown with in many of the pictures. I recently purchased the Donner DEP-20 Beginner Digital Piano and it has exceeded all my expectations. The 88 full-sized weighted keys provide an incredibly authentic piano-playing experience. The sound quality is superb, and I love the variety of built-in voices and effects.

This is a great beginners piano if you want to learn on a 88 key keyboard. I had to return mine, not because of any fault of the product but because I wanted a piano that would let me grow into a more advanced player. My review is broken down into a few sections where I'll explain why i had to return mine. But if you are not interested in the review, and only a beginner, this keyboard is perfect for you.

Piano Keys
The keys are weighted and feel "heavy". But because I'm used a normal piano, these keys felt normal. They felt weighted and not easily pressed like a normal digital keyboard. The keys were wide and when playing the keys were not squished together or smaller as I felt when playing other keyboards. (positive)

Piano Sound
The sound of the piano is loud and clear. The only thing is that all the keys played have the same volume because the piano does not have graded keys. If i play a key at the lower end with deeper sound lightly, the sound should come out quiet, but the sound is banging in my head. If i play the lower end and the high end together, the lower end with the deeper sound always overpowers the higher sound. Anyways, in piano language, I can't play "p" or "f" or "mf" because everything comes out "ff".

Pedal
The sustain pedal attachment is great and connects easily to the back. It's small and easy to press. The only thing is that on my hardwood floor, the pedal keeps moving around and I just got fustrated and started to play my songs without even though it required it.

Size
The piano is just slightly bigger than the 56 key keyboard and didn't take up too much more space. It is thick, heavy, and portable if required. I used a piano stand and chair purchased from Amazon but the piano was either too high or the chair was too low and both were at their max/min. No more adjustments could be made to move the stand lower or the chair higher. It was just a little awkward.

Overall
Like I said at the top, this is a great beginners piano to learn, but if you want to play a piano realistically, you'll need the graded keys as well which I missed in the beginning when searching for/purchasing a piano. There were no broken keys or broken sounds. There were additional buttons etc along the top but I didn't play with them. The combination of the graded sound problem and the pedal issue was enough for me to return it.

I've had this digital piano for about two weeks now and I love it, the weighted keys feel really good, very similar to the feel of a regular piano, so much so that if you push a key light enough, it simulates a real piano where no sound comes out and the more force you apply, the louder the note.

The sound is very good too, the speakers are powerful and I'm usually going at 25-50% volume as the speakers can get quite loud.

Its also really nice that you get two headphone jacks at the front instead of the back, its very convenient placement. Just make sure to get an adapter as the opening is 1/4 inch and a lot of headphones are 1/8.

All of this with a nice looking, sturdy piano stand for less than $400 is just a steal. A similar set up (piano, stand and the three pedals) from a brand name would be in the $800 range. For a complete beginner like me, its probably not worth it to spend double.

I didn't use the many tunes and different instrument sounds the keyboard is capable of producing as I'm only interested in piano for now, but there is a huge variety to choose from.

Ce piano est parfait et complement conforme à mes attentes.
Nous l'avons réçu très rapidement et il présente des performences très sympa et intéressantes; totalement au-delà de mes éspérances, pour l'apprentissage de mon fils.

I am a 70 year old woman who decided I was going fulfil a lifelong dream to play the piano.
I looked at several digital pianos and eventually decided on this one. It was so easy to assemble, I did this myself. The sound is lovely, it is a good height for me, keys feel piano like. Roll on 12 months from now when hopefully I'll be at least playing "She'll be coming round the mountain".🤣
