The Good:
Neck and Body matched pair
Neck pocket and pickup slots routed well
Frets were cut well no real sharp edged (could be rounded off and smoothed more)
Electronics were all wired

The Bad
Internal packaging was not great and ended up with many loose screws inside the main box (luckily none
were lost)
Screw holes for pick guard and strap nuts were drilled a little too large so some screws will not bite without adding filler or moving to larger screws.
Jointing on the body was not done perfectly leaving a small crack.
Neck nut is precut a little low not leaving much room for filing at correct depth
One pickup had come apart from its plastic housing. I had to reglue it.

All in all a fun project with my dauter and makes a passable instrument (still needs work on setup)

What a sad product all around. I'm no expert but this is a abject piece of junk ! The wood body was dented and filthy with grunge, it needed a good deal of sanding jus5 to prep it for a base coat. It feels like balsa wood ( maybe that's what paulania is ? )
The pickups had to be glued back together, not in the body but in their own casings as well as having not been screwed in behind the pickgaurd.
Not only are there no assembly instructions but missing parts as well.
Maybe if you are a guitar tech for a teenage garage band and need a box of cheap spare parts for your back pocket this is for you. I have now built 3 diy guitars and this is far and away the worst case I have seen.
I have about 6 hours into this thing and have not even begun to assemble it, and I am no perfectionist by any means !
They should be embarrassed to ship this crap!!
I would ask for a refund but any company that would sell this garbage likely has no honor to set things right.
BEWARE, JUST DON'T !!

This is a nice piece. I bought it for an art project. I gave it 2 stars because it came without instructions for assembling it. Other similar products come with instructions. Now I need a music store to assemble it and I was told it would cost me a couple of hundreds of dollars!!
