I tried a rtx 3060ti first, but pc wouldn't even boot (power button blink amber). Returned, then I tried this card. Installed fine but monitor was black, showing no power from new gpu. Read online about clearing cmos (briefly remove battery inside pc). Restarted pc and went thru cmos error warning page. On bois boot screen it looks like secure boot shows disabled. I messed with it trying the first card but I'm pretty sure I reenabled it.
I had to remove the new card to get to the battery so it's possible the card just wasn't inserted completely but I'm pretty sure it was the cmos reset.
This is in a secondary backup pc. It should be a lean mean gaming machine now.

I upgraded from an NVIDIA GTX 1650 Super (4GB) and this has been so much better. For 2024, I would say that an RTX 4060 with 8GB (or equivalent) is the bare minimum GPU you need to run most games smoothly (unless you're overclocking or doing some kind of voodoo). And I think $310 is a fair price for the value.
