An excellent beginner telescope for its value!
As a beginner with a growing desire for stargazing, I decided to purchase this Dianfan 90800 refractive telescope and I must say it did not disappoint. Does it provide the quality of a $1000+ scope? maybe not, but personally, I feel its slightly more than just a beginner scope and gets the job done well, not to mention for a $200 telescope, its very good for someone who doesn't want to break the bank but also enjoy space with the family.I was able to get some nice shots using my iPhone 13 (+ included phone adapter) of our moon (waning gibbous), and physically viewing through the scope was a bit more clearer than the pictures. I haven't tried other planets or stars yet so can't speak on that, but the moon was very majestic to view, especially leaving the person in awe when you see it enter the field of view for the first time.Some pros and cons:Pros:*Excellent packaging: all items came as advertised.
