  3. No personal information required for activation apart from an email address
  4. InstaChat support available on activation page.
  5. No activation on Sundays.

Phone compatibility
  • You must use an unlocked phone with a SIM tray
  • In general iPhone X and newer are compatible, iPhone 12 and newer required to get 5G speeds
  • Android phones are sometimes incompatible. Go to T-Mobile website and search for "is my phone compatible" to find web page that can check your phone's compatibility

Very impress! Got my sim card today and from reading some comments I activated it right away as I bought enough days to do so. Activation was very easy & I got Activated email within a few hours. Got my US # but I will not get my Canadian family to call it as I think it will cost them an overseas call even if I'm only in USA. I added my new USA sim card in my cell to make sure it worked and it did. I only had hard time placing the card right so my phone could read it. (unexperienced user). All is good and I'm ready for my upcoming trip to US.Tks for making it easy!

I liked the worry free unlimited connection and data this SIM card provides. It worked perfectly in California, Seattle and even Canada (don't forget to turn roaming on when you enter Canada). It was easy to set up and help was instantly available when needed. Although it was cheaper than other similar SIM cards on Amazon, it was not cheap considering you pay for a week as for a month's service, but it's your choice to buy it or not and for me it was great. Thank you.

Not as advertised. 5 GB high speed data ran out very soon. Unlimited low speed was nonexistent. The phone would not find hotel wifi servers after 1 week. My original Canadian SIM did work. I had bought one of these SIMs 2 years ago and was exceptionally satisfied, that is why I bought it again even though the cost was much higher. Not again though.

Activation took longer than expected. Registered 2 days before travel but took 3 days for confirmation after chasing them down with online chat. Does not always work as there were days that I had no service for a few hours. Thankfully had wifi when I needed it most. Was cheaper than roaming but for the most part I would pay the extra for peace of mind in the future.

I was only able to place 1 phone call back to Canada, after that it was asking me to refill the prepaid card to place a phone call. It's supposed to be unlimited voice, sms and data usage. Also strangely it was a sunday the day their customer services is closed. Total loss of money. I do not recommend at all.

1. very confusing and conflicting info. I bought 7 day variant but when I go activate they say need to activate 1 day before trip, which means I lose 1 day - but then on inquiry, they say my card is 30 days.... like huh?? I'm on day 8 now and it's still working so likely a 30 day card. But if my trip was 7 days and I bought this expecting to use it 7 day. If u lose out cuz with the activation day you technically only get 6.
2. The activation process is easy but again, confusing - they say activation takes 24 hours and so you should activate it the day before leaving. Again losing 1 day and also giving you anxiety.
3. says technical support is available 24/7 but in my experience, they were away and I had to create a ticket. They got back to me within a few hours, but overall the activation process gave me more anxiety than it should.
4. Poor internet reception and speed - However, I blame this on T-Mobile. My trip was to vegas, utah, and grand canyon. Most of the time it says LTE or 5G until there's 0 signal. but many times connected to 5G UC but cannot load anything. Again I blame T-Mobile.

Overall I think this is worth the money - Just make sure you get your activation dates right.

Don’t wait until you get to your travel destination, before you leave your country of origin, make sure you contact your cell provider to make sure this card is compatible with your phone. After arriving overseas, I found out that my phone was unable to be used until I contacted my carrier, which was, of course, in another time zone, and on the other side of the world. In the instructions provided it says wait until you get to your travel destination before switching the Sim card, which is misleading. I won’t be using this company again.
