We ended up having to return this controller within less than a month, because the right analog stick kept getting stuck in one position. Either it wouldn't move at all, or it would keep moving to the right and wouldn't move back. Purchase at your own risk, or simply buy an X-box brand for the same price.

I have mixed feelings about this controller. I want to love it, the overall build quality is good, and the look is beautiful and sleek nearly identical to an OEM controller. It’s a minimal design and the rumble actually feels great on it. The connection is indeed fast and more responsive than bluetooth. The triggers and bumpers feel great. There’s a lot to love but at the same time it has some issues which can’t be ignored. Not to mention when you factor in the price point of this controller it isn’t a good deal with issues like these.

The first thing to note is that you’re limited to wired or 2.4ghz connection. Bluetooth is a commonly available connection even in cheap controllers that it seems careless not to include. But the real issue is that while the 2.4 connection is a faster connection than bluetooth it is NOT free from interference. The listing claims it will be free from interference but I definitely got some when placing the dongle in the back usb hub of my pc surrounded by other usb connections and wires. Once I moved the dongle to the front of my pc where it had clear space and was closer the controller the connection has been great. Another issue is that the d-pad misses inputs. Every couple of clicks it will just miss an input entirely though clicking extra hard helps with this. None the less if you’re hearing a click how is there no actuation?

My final major issue here is the power saving functions. They do not work well. The manual says to hold the home button for 5 seconds to put it in sleep mode but in reality it’s more like 8 seconds and only turns off when you let go of the home button. Many times following being put into sleep mode it will immediately wake itself and start searching for a connection though. It also has no auto sleep functionality when your device is turned on and the controller is connected. I have left it for hours by accident and ended up with totally dead batteries that were new.

This controller really has pros and cons so you’ll have to decide if it fits your needs. It is a faster and more stable connection but will tie up a usb port. The look and feel of it is great but the d-pad seems prone to issues. The rumble and other functions do feel great though. It works great with pc or Xbox and can be used wired with no batteries as well. It fits standard Xbox battery packs too. There are things to love and things to hate, overall it’s a pretty good controller but not the best or most premium for this price point.

I ordered this when my Xbox controller went on the fritz, and was hoping it would become a solid second controller for my daughter to use, and for me to use when the main one needed to be charged. Unfortunately, the thumb sticks are a tad uncomfortable, almost too rubbery, and they are SUPER sensitive. Playing anything that needs precision on the XBOX is frustrating. On PC you can usually change the sensitivity manually, so the games I play there its great for, hence 4 stars.

I got this to use with my PC, and connection was simple and everything works as it should. The controller arrived in great condition and looks just like the picture. The dongle is mandatory and you cannot connect via bluetooth, which brings me to my largest concern. The dongle is very long and there is not a way to clip it to the controller when not in use. It would be great if there was a slot or clip it could fit into on the controller.
