- Mic 2 Transmitter (Shadow Black) - Includes one transmitter (Shadow Black) and more. Connects directly to mobile phones, Pocket 3, and Action 4 via Bluetooth. Ideal for solo creators.

2. Intelligent noise cancelling of DJI Mic 2 cannot be enabled when the transmitter is connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
3. Internal recording of DJI Mic 2 cannot be used when the transmitter is connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
4. Each transmitter has 8 GB of internal storage to store up to 14 hours of uncompressed 48kHz 24-bit audio.

I have only used this a few times now, but it is amazing how flexible this is, it allows for connection to iPhone/android/windows (don't have a mac but I am guessing it would work there too).

I made this purchase to start looking at recording new materials for language learning/revitalization resources and will be starting this in the next few weeks. But so far, the testing that my partner and I have been doing with these is very promising. We are even seeing more options in what we can do for creating more resources or even creating content on steaming platforms.

I have tried cheaper solutions and always had issues with transmission or quality.

These work flawlessly with GoPro 11 Balck, DJI Action 2 and Action 4, Sony 6400 and iPhone 15 Pro Max (my set up). I’ve used for voiceovers with Final Cut Pro and works very well. The record feature and Bluetooth on the Mic 2 are two very useable features that make easier to record without additional set up when in a rush or traveling.

Pricey but You won’t be disappointed with these on just about and application

I ordered the new DJI mic 2 because I needed a second set for my other wedding film crew. On the morning of setting up to film for these weddings I open up the mics to find out that they didn't have the 3.5mm TRS cable.... So I was unable to connect to my camera which means I have so much work to synch up audio for my wedding film.

I should have checked the whole package when I got it and made sure everything was there. However it said on the box that it came with the cable, so I trusted that to be true. Usually I'm astounded by DJI but I'm honestly so disappointed with this.....

I love the product quality and simplicity of use: take it out of the metal box and it is already connected! But I would like to understand all the buttons and menus without having to google everything. The menus need to be clearer, not just pictograms. Overall, sound is decent. Not perfect, it sounds a bit distant but ok for this price range.
