Overview:

DJI Avata 2 delivers an adrenaline-pumping immersive FPV drone experience with improved imaging, safety, and battery life. Amp up the fun when you pair Avata 2 with the new DJI Goggles 3 and DJI RC Motion 3.

DJI Avata 2 comes in three purchasing options:
-DJI Avata 2 (Drone Only) includes the drone, one intelligent flight battery, and other items. Needs to be used with Goggles and RC Motion 3 (sold separately).
-DJI Avata 2 Fly More Combo (1 Battery) includes the drone, DJI RC Motion 3, DJI Goggles 3, and more.
-DJI Avata 2 Fly More Combo (3 Batteries) includes the drone, 3 Intelligent Flight Batteries, DJI RC Motion 3, DJI Goggles 3, and more.

6. HDR video is available in two scenarios: A. EIS is turned off, recording at 4K/2.7K/1080p@60/50/30fps with a 16:9 aspect ratio or at 4K/2.7K/1080p@30fps with a 4:3 aspect ratio. B. EIS is set to RockSteady or HorizonSteady, recording at 4K/2.7K/1080p@30fps with either a 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio.
7. To use Gyrowflow stabilization, turn off electronic stabilization in the goggles menu before flight and set the angle to wide-angle to ensure that the footage is recognized by Gyrowflow and stabilized effectively.
8. The maximum flight time of the aircraft is measured at a constant flying speed of 21.6 kph in a windless environment at sea level, with camera parameters set to 1080p/30fps, video mode off, and from 100% battery level until 0%. Data is for reference only. Always pay attention to reminders on the goggles screen during your flight.
9. DO NOT connect the charger, connect external devices, or insert/remove any batteries during power accumulation.
10. The 13km transmission distance can only be achieved under the FCC standard when measured without interference in an open outdoor environment. The above data shows the farthest communication range for one-way, non-return flights under each standard. During your flight, pay attention to RTH reminders on the goggles screen.
12. DJI Avata 2 is factory set to automatically perform Return to Home (RTH) if the drone signal is disconnected, and users can change the setting to hover or land before takeoff according to the actual flight scenario.
13. If the 5.8GHz frequency band is not available (such as in Japan), screen sharing to the smartphone via Wi-Fi is not available. To achieve this function, a wired connection is recommended. Before flying, check and confirm local radio and aviation laws and regulations.
14. Tested in an open outdoor environment free of interference. The video transmission distance varies with the operating environment.

 1 of the 3 batteries that Dji sent me is defective been charging it for 7 straight hours and it’s still blinking. Tried putting it on the charging hub and inserting it in the drone but it still didn’t work.

Ce nouveau drone est encore plus facile à conduire que son prédécesseur et permet de faire des mouvements qui ne pouvaient pas être fait avant qu'en mode manuel. La compagnie a corrigé quelques-uns de ses défauts en créant ce nouveau drone comme la façon de le brancher à l'ordinateur et l'emplacement pour mettre une carte mémoire qui est rendu maintenant très facile d'accès.

Je ne regrette absolument pas d'avoir acheté l'option flymore combo qui vient avec trois batteries un sac de rangement et un chargeur pour les trois batteries qui me permet de l'utiliser plus longtemps et d'avoir un moyen de le transporter de façon sécuritaire. pour le prix que ça coûte en plus ça vaut vraiment la peine

On est habitués à avoir une très bonne qualité de la part de DJI, et cet avata 2 en fait également partie. La qualité de fabrication est comme d’habitude. Parfait. Ce que j’ai aimé : le hub pour les batteries qui est très pratique le masque en version trois qui est parfait au niveau image. Le Drône en lui-même se fait un peu ballotter par le vent mais il s’agit d’un cinewoop donc ce n’est pas très étonnant. Je suis débutant en SPV et grâce aux Motion contrôleur. J’ai pu me faire plaisir dès les premières minutes. Maintenant si vous voulez vraiment profiter de toutes les capacités de ce Drone, il faudra prendre la commande qui va avec. Toutes les vidéos de promotion, DJI sont tournées avec la radio commande.

I was not sure between camera drones and FPVs. The best candidates were Mini 4 Pro/Air 3 & Avata 2. They all have the same O4 signal system. Mini and Air drones has advantages in their camera, 360 obstacle avoidance feature (useful in manual use and vital when autonomous tracking) . All have same camera features but Mini 4 Pro has 4K vertical shot and Air 3 has a second 3X zoom lens. Air has bigger body close to Mavic series and around 750 grams where Mini is 259 and Avata is 370 grams. Heavy drones are much more stable in windy air. Avata has VR style googles which is excellent part of the fun. You feel you are flying. With this device you can control the camera view with head movements as well.
