I bought this inflator after watching the Project Farm shootout. The Milwaukee was faster, but this one was the most robust. It's more powerful than I need for my little car but I prefer to buy for quality and durability.
I only used it once so far. My tires only need 32 PSI. It took them from about 24 to 32 in 1 or 2 minutes per tire. I used it on a completely flat mountain bike tire as well. It took longer to attach and remove the hose than for the pump to fill that tire.
It is very easy to use. You just attach the hose to the tire, dial in the pressure you want, and press start. It stops when the pressure is reached.
Although the unit was set to 32 PSI, when it stopped the gauge on the device read about 32.5. Maybe they overfill slightly because you will lose some air when you disengage the hose. But you would have to bleed a lot of air to lose a half lb of pressure.
I compared the pressure reported by this inflator with my AstroAI digital tire pressure gauge. There was about a 0.8 lb difference between the two (the DeWalt was higher) when my tires were fully inflated. I have no way of knowing which is more accurate, but they're pretty close. The AstroAI actually showed the pressure closer to the desired pressure ... around 31.8 vs the DeWalt 32.6.
One of the reviews complained that it didn't come with the ACC adapter. They must have received a bad unit. The inflator does come with the 12 V cigarette lighter cable.
My only gripe has nothing to do with the unit, it has to do with the listing on Amazon. The dimensions show the thickness at just over 5 cm. They must have meant inches. I thought I could fit this under my seat in the car, but I can't.
