I have these on all my guitars and they work totally fine. I actually prefer them to the 2-piece metal straplocks most of the time. They went on relatively easy and once on its clear they aren't coming off unless you are trying to remove the strap.
A+
Only time I don't recommend these is if you're doing guitar flips. In one of my bands I do epic guitar flips (one of my bands is kind of nu-metal / metalcore and most of the set I'm just doing clockwise AND counterclockwise guitar flips or playing Open C chords). For that type of motion I'd recommend the 2 piece locking strap locks - i haven't tried these for that for the record but just a thought.
Works as it should. The flip side is that the strap must stay on the guitar, you don't remove it and put it back repetively on and off. Other than that, it's very strong and keep your guitar safe
These strap locks are so simple even a drummer could install them. My snobbish base playing buddies make fun of these strap locks and tell me that I should invest in "proper" ones. But the joke is on them. These have never let me down and they are inexpensive. Even when I had to remove the strap a couple of weeks ago because it got tangled it was relatively easy to get the lock off and back on again. I totally love these.
Effectivity dictated by the size of the original strap button. If the original strap buttons are too small these will not work. They work well with my Les Paul but not well with my Squire bass.
excellent idea. Easy to attach, smaller than WAY more expensive metal ones that don't work well. I've had the expensive strap locks. Gues what? They have a high failure rate. Your guitar will drop. This simple ingenious and inexpensive solution is great.
These give an additional level of confidence to what can only be described as the terrible strap attachment found on most guitars - designed to fail eventually.
These aren't in the same league as the dedicated quick release devices such as Schaller strap locks, but if you are keeping the strap on the same guitar then they will help to keep the stap in place.
Depending on the strap thickness and guitar mount these can be easy to fit or not! Found on one guitar had to unscrew the mount slightly, fit the flex lock strap and then tighten it up again.
Well worth having if not using a quick release type device, plus here is no hole drilling etc.
I never knew these existed! Now I can't live without them! I bought enough to put on every guitar I own and tell every guitar player I know about them. They keep your strap on without having to do any modifications. There are thin. They look good. They are extreme ly cheap and extremely useful. Real solid product.

They're discs of hard but slightly flexible plastic with a hole in the middle. You shouldn't have any problem at all getting them on (or off - I checked) unless you've got really outsize strap buttons. You get two pairs, so one pair went on an LP Special, the spares on a mandola with tiny little buttons. Rock solid in both cases. I've only had them on for a week so durability hasn't been an issue yet, but they feel like they'll last.
