The good:- quality- ease of use / install- adjustability- made my camera quality 10x better due to changing the angle of the IR light (before it would bounce off my brick wall, blowing out the image, making the rest useless)The bad:- the screw heads are too thin, so when you tighten them down they easily pop through the mounting holesOverall very happy with it. Nothing to really complain about besides the screw heads being too small. Maybe they can include some tiny washers or larger screws.

The kit came with all 3 pieces and 9 screws, 3 long screws, 3 medium screws, and 3 short screws. However, no installation guide, but it's pretty easy to figure out. I installed directly into my brickmold so I didn't have to worry about using anchors into brick. I used 2 short screws and installed the first bracket, then I placed the second bracket on top and used 2 medium screws to secure it, then the third bracket which I used 2 long screws. All screws go through the slot, and I staggered them. I then painted the brackets to match my brickmold and then installed the Ring doorbell. It works well. My stairs are on the side of the deck, so I needed to angle the doorbell and this made the job easy.

Purchased the corner mount kit for a Ring Doorbell 2 and it arrived with only a single wedge. No screws, anchors, or a second wedge as per the item description. There is zero way to attach the corner mount to the camera without the additional screws. I figured this was a fluke, so I ordered the same kit a second time...it just arrived and EXACT SAME PROBLEM! Do not buy - this is a complete joke.

After installing my Ring Wi-Fi Video Battery Doorbell Plus camera, I realized that the camera angle was partially blocked by the recessed doorframe of our condominium unit. I believed that the way to correct this was to angle the camera more towards the centre of the door frame but this was only possible by dismounting and remounting the doorbell. I saw this on the ring website when I was registering my unit and believed it would solve the blockage issue. This mounting kit has two 15-degree brackets, a bag of screws of varying lengths and a very crude instruction leaflet. The hardware is chosen based on whether one, two or three brackets are used. My unit came with two units only. The idea was to hold the brackets against the doorframe and drill into the frame using the length of screws to "friction-fit" the back of the bracket against the door frame. In theory this should have worked. In reality, it was frustrating drilling into the hardwood doorframe and then manipulating the two brackets together (hint, use masking tape to hold them together) to eventually insert the screws. The screws are thin and the heads soon started to strip under the pressure. I just managed to get the screws in by using a manual screwdriver [and my wrist paid the price :>]. In the end, I had to pull the two brackets together to ensure they were tight against both the rear bracket and the door frame. I re-attached the doorbell and tested it for movement. It seems fine. This kit should not be so difficult to install and better mounting methods in the brackets themselves plus better hardware would really help.
