Still learning but loving the clean it delivers
I am still new to using a water flosser. I’ve been very lucky with my teeth but never flossed because my teeth are close together and I have difficulties using floss or tape. This water flosser is a game changer. Not only does it remove any food stuck between my teeth but it “massages” my gums as well.I have to say that there is a learning curve. I’ve watched videos online to find the best technique. There are 5 different modes which include: Soft mode (for first-time users and beginners) – Normal mode – Power mode (powerful cleaning) – Pulse mode (gum massage) – Kids’ mode (less forceful). When I first started using the water flosser, I stuck to the more gentle modes which were easier to control. I’ve since graduated to the more stimulating modes where I can really feel the pulses on my gums. I do change up the modes just to keep it interesting. I always use warm water so that the massage is not a shock. The flosser comes with six different tips including a plastic tongue scraper. The tips (nozzles) include: 1 for people who have braces (orthodontics) – 1 periodontal (gums) – 2 jet tips – 1 spray tip and the tongue scraper. There is a user manual but as mentioned, I read it then watched online videos. I wasn’t sure where to put the tips not being used as there is no dedicated spot on the flosser to store the tips. I took a tall medication bottle and put the tips in there to keep them clean and store them in my medicine closet so that they are easy to locate. The tank holds 10 ounces. While you are learning how to use the flosser, you may need to fill the tank more than once. That’s okay, fill it as many times as you need. I’ve taken to using the flosser while sitting on the bench in my shower before or after showering. That way, I don’t need to fret about water spraying around and messing up the bathroom. The flosser is waterproof and can be used during a shower. You just need to make absolutely certain that the charging port is sealed. The water flosser is rechargeable and comes with a USB cable. At a cost of $33.99 (May 2024), I consider this water flosser to be a solid investment in dental health and helping to keep a healthy smile. It was a much-needed addition to my own oral health care regime.

I have been using it for about 4 days now and it functions great, when you increase the water pressure, it's gives it a pulse, I feel the second level is great for me.
Very portable design with good accessories and feels good in hand.
However I am not sure about the sustainability, if it lasts 2 years I am happy.
And I surely love the look of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Reasonably compact and works well.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
I have been using a water flosser for several years and would not be without one. My previous device was becoming (if you will forgive a terrible pun) a little long in the tooth 🙂 and so thought I would give this new one a try.

It comes in a nice box and would make good if slightly unusual gift.

Although a range of spray tips are included, no guidance is given in the instructions as how they are intended to be used. There are a pair of standard tips, one of which has a white ring and the other a black ring around the base, so that a couple can share the irrigator with each having their own tip.

The main body looks quite neat and the water tank can be filled either by taking off the top or via a hinged filler cap on the side. The tank holds enough water to clean my teeth completely without being refilled.

I like the way that the water feed pipe is weighted so that it stays in the water no matter how you are holding the irrigator. It is also good that it can be charged using a standard USB c charging cable and that the rubber cap covering the charge point is attached so that it can't be lost.

There are 5 levels of spray pressure available, and I would suggest that you start with a soft setting if you’ve not used one of these before. Do make sure that the spray end is properly in your mouth before you switch the unit on, or you will quickly get water all around the bathroom! You might also want to check out YouTube for a demonstration.

One last thing to note is that my gums did bleed slightly the first a few times I used one of these (as mentioned in the instructions) but I soon got used to it and no longer have that problem.

Priced at about £26 when I ordered it seems decent value. Previously I used to have a Panasonic flosser but the battery gave up the ghost after six years.

It comes well packed with a variety of different tools to floss. It took about a couple of hours to fully charge the device. The water reservoir can take about 300mls of water, (which would be an awful lot to have in my mouth). The device itself is not very sleek but it is manoeuvrable.

I attached the jet flosser and then made my first mistake - I turned the machine on. So if you're about to do the same please note that it is best to choose the mode - child/soft/pulse/normal/strong - first and then put the flosser in your mouth with your lips closed before turning it on. Because the first thing I did was cover the bathroom mirror with water!

Secondly, when flossing it's good to be familiar with the on/off button, because 300mls of water is a lot and pretty soon I wanted it to stop so I could, er, offload.

Final results I would say were good, comparable with my old flosser, the different power settings were as described and I felt that my teeth were rid of detritus and ready to be cleaned with toothpaste. I'm pleased with this, for a no brand device it's OK but if I was spending my own money I would also be considering a name brand for my peace of mind.

I've been using the cordless water flosser for a couple days now, and it's been a game-changer for my oral hygiene routine. The different modes cater to various needs, ensuring a personalised cleaning experience. The larger water tank capacity and long-lasting battery are convenient features, especially for travel. Plus, the multiple jet tips provide thorough cleaning. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because the water pressure could be a bit too strong for some users, and the device could be quieter during operation. Overall, it's a fantastic product that I highly recommend for maintaining oral health.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
I bought one of the large tank versions of this, but it was attached by a pipe and it was too cumbersome and well, just not practical. I am dedicated to my teeth, but that was beyond a joke. This cordless one is far more practical. It is still bigger than your normal sonic toothbrush, but bareable. You get plenty of heads to get you started. Gave it to hubby to trial it first. He has never used one before, so guess what, water everywhere, like a toddler! After a few tries he got the hang of it and even ventured into the shower with it. He was surprised at how easily it knockes out the debris that he usually has a fight with, between the teeth, that he usually pushes out with interdental picks. I don't know how long he will continue with this as it does take time to keep it clean/keep it bacteria free etc, which means more water usage, something we are striving to reduce, but, we'll see.

4.0 out of 5 stars multiple settings (soft to quite powerful), easy to charge, multiple tips. A bit large to hold
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 1, 2024
Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
PROS
-powerful jet of water (depending on settings)
-easy to charge (USB-C)
-multiple tips, and tip types
-multiple modes really useful
-larger tank than my last water-flosser (and it’s easier to fill)
-has a memory: it’ll turn on with the settings you were using when you turned it off
-waterproofing means it can be used in the shower (or a pool, or even the ocean ;-)
-pretty good instruction manual

CONS
-quite a big unit, takes some practice to hold it without accidentally turning it on
-on button is on a hair-trigger: it’s _very_ easily turned on (I ended up with water all over my mirror when I was first trying it out)

NOTES
-I like the different modes, this allowed me to start lighter (“soft mode”) and work my way up to “Normal mode” (with the occasional “Strong Mode”, after I’ve had steak or fibrous veggies)

MY STAR RATINGS:
1* substandard, mostly cons
2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros
3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros
4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons
5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros
