Bought this case for the minimalistic design and cost effective package (power supplies and clc are included). The cable management was very well organized out of the box and made installing the rest of the internals a breeze.
The case also comes with metal vented side and tempered glass.
However, my gpu (gigabyte 4080) was too long and it didn’t fit the case. This is my fault in assuming its compatibility. But i loved the case so much, I bought a metal shear and moved part of the front plate on the case to make room for my gpu. I’m very happy with this case!

Just be aware that you can only vertical mount your GPU with this compared to the regular NR200!

Will fit the largest RTX cards you got. Provides excellent cooling especially considering the small foot print. Not the smallest SFF case but its a great size.

Would be great if it had color options - ie black or white and a case only version without the power supply and AIO.

Finally these cases seem to available in North America from time to time. I had a NZXT H1 and it never really satisfied. The AIO Pump makes a whiny buzzing noise, and I hit throttling doing my Handbrake encodings with stock settings on my 10700K. Maybe a defective cooler but I also really disliked how hot the GPU got, makes a racket with the fans spooling up. So when Coolermaster announced this Max edition of their NR200P, I had to have it as a replacement for the NZXT H1. But there was no availability all of last year. But finally these are available on Amazon and for a decent price too..$500 CAD...slightly cheaper than the $450USD seen on other US sites.

This is a great case for the builder who demands the best, but wants a simple straightforward build with the least amount of guesswork. Two of the biggest pains of building in a small form factor case is the cooling and cable management, and with this case, it's done for you. The included 280mm water cooler which is cable of handling a high performance CPU (my i7 is no problem) and a large enough case and power supply to handle very large GPUs, even a RTX 3090. The included 850W power supply means you won't run out of headroom even when the RTX4xxx series comes out.

So the process of building the PC with this case is:

1) you need to supply the motherboard (mini-ITX), CPU, RAM and storage. I didn't install the RAM until later the very last step for more finger room. ITX motherboards are a bit more expensive.

2) With this case, every panel comes off so remove the side, bottom panels. You can even undo the top but that's not necessary. Screw down the motherboard into the case, attach the two power cables to motherboard, and 3 cables for the headers (front panel, audio, USB). The CPU power cable is already neatly pre-routed into the top corner.

3) attach the right pump bracket to the back of the motherboard for your CPU (Intel or AM4). 12th gen LGA1700 Intel is supported with an included bracket. Attach the brackets and screws for the pump unit. Use the included thermal paste and screw the pump onto the CPU.

4) attach pump's power cable to the motherboard fan/pump header. Attach the dual fan cable from the water cooler to motherboard. You want to run the pump at 100% and pick a fan curve for the AIO fan. I have mine starting at 40% and ramping up to 100% at 75C.

5) for the GPU, you have to remove the bracket from the case, attach the GPU to the bracket, plug the power cable(s) to the GPU, mount the bracket back into the case and then snap in the riser to the motherboard and GPU

The case can take one or two 3.5 drives and multiple 2.5 drives. I have a 2.5 storage drive and attached that to the front area with the very simple peg screws they included. After you attach the pegs to the drive, the drive just snaps into the front panel without a tool.

All in all you can do this in a couple of hours tops. On youtube, Christopher Flannigan has a step by step NR200P MAX video which is very detailed and complete. I watched that and everything was crystal clear. Highly recommended....you almost don't need the written instructions except to identify the parts.

So far so good, system is super quiet and honestly I didn't bother with the extra bottom fans like most of the youtubers did. Supposedly it helps only a little bit to improve temperatures with the vented panel but is recommended if you use the glass panel. Coolermaster's User Guide didn't mention that they are needed. Most people say adding the two bottom fans adds a lot more noise without a huge drop in temperatures. I checked my temps while gaming and everything is under 70C.

I was worried that I might receive a dead AIO like some others reported, but mine is fine. I don't hear the pump unless I put my ear close to the case, and the fans are pretty quiet at 800rpm at idling temperatures. Power supply is also quiet and not really noticeable. This is definitely one of the quietest computers I've built.

My rating subtracts one star for the generally high price....you are paying for the convenience mainly as you don't save at all with this bundle. Since I bought it, I've seen the price drop below $500 a few times but mostly it hovers above $500. It's a fairly big price to pay for the convenience, you have to figure out for yourself whether you are happy with the premium.

However, note that this case is **not** the same as the regular NR200P case, which means you cannot replicate the MAX by buying the parts separately (and Cooler Master does not sell this MAX case separately). There are differences in the back panel, the motherboard positioning compared to the regular NR200P

But in terms of value, buying the parts separately adds up to about the same as this bundle. If you get those things all on sale, it will be even cheaper. I think Coolermaster originally said this case would be $350USD, and then it would have a good value.

But if you want a high performance small-ish computer without a lot of work, this is the way to go.

Also, I'm still a bit disappointed there is no USB-C on front panel in a 2021 designed case.
The case looks professional and understated. There's no RGB at all, but this is a case that gets it done with no frills.

Don't buy it if you are using 13th gen intel or later. The cooler cannot even handle my 13600k. Named 280mm AIO but perform even worse than 140mm AIO from other brands.

Also no repair or replacement options from custom service.

Recomendaciones;

Puntos a mejorar;
1.- Precio.

I love this case. It's well built, relatively easy to assemble, and looks great. I'm a beginner to building and this is my second PC build. I built the first one 10 years ago for gaming, and it lasted me longer than any other PC I have ever owned, which is why I chose to build another instead of buying a preassembled one. My old PC is still running well, and pretty fast too, but it doesn't have the specifications for newer updates (e.g., Windows 11, 4k display, and specifications for software updates).

The main purpose of this second PC build is to be able to run statistical and data analysis software for grad school, be able to handle programing and also be gaming capable if I ever do decide to play. I wanted a small ITX PC that I can easily take with me if I need to attend school in another city. I also wanted it to look more professional than some of the typical gaming PCs out there. This case has great reviews and has a well thought-out design in terms of cooling and cable management. It met all of my criteria.

It comes with an AIO, power supply, and thermal paste. Before receiving the case I was a bit concerned about the quality, but it is actually very sturdy and well built. Panels are easy to remove and put on, without too many screws. They are held in place by the design of the case. The panels clicks into the structure of the case. There is no concern about panels falling out. I did not have any issue with fitting the motherboard or other components into the case, but it is small inside and would be difficult to remove components. I had to unplug a couple of cords to try to read the serial number on the side of the motherboard and that was not fun.

Overall, very satisfied with this case and would recommend it. If I have to build another computer, I would choose this case without a doubt. Out of all the components I bought to build this PC, this is by far my favorite component.

PC build
MSI MEG z690i motherboard
Intel i7 12700k CPU
Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU
Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32 GB RAM
Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB SSD
Cooler Master NR200P Max case

I got this case recommended by my friend and I received the courier within 2 days after the order. The product was genuine and there were no damages. It was easy for a newbie like me to get this assembled and all the components are well build. Liked the way it looks and the grey color for the max version looks pretty good to me.

Super recomendado

The TLDR is that this case is great. I bought another to build a new work computer, and both cases are keeping cool. I did replace the fans with Scythe 140mm fans on the radiator and 120mm slim fans for the bottom on both my home and work builds since both are similar enough.

It's been a while since I built a computer and kind of set it and forgot about it. I've dusted out the home machine once since I got that one. Otherwise my only gripe was the paint on the original case but again, that literally buffed out. The second case didn't even have much in the way of spots on the paint or anything.

Original review below:

I had an original nr200 that I moved an old itx build into about a year ago and loved it. I honestly wish I had kept it instead of selling and keeping my atx build. But I probably wouldn't have gone with this then. So, it's a win. After waiting 7+ months for this case, between seeing it in reviews and not knowing where to get it until it hit Amazon/Newegg, I'd say it was worth the wait.

This comes with two minor caveats, for me at least, that I can't imagine many people have run into.

I got my *first* delivery and was missing the riser cable and one of the pcie power cables. The box looked unopened so I'll say it was a packing issue from the factory. I did try to just go through the order page to exchange it but was only given the option to return. I'd imagine this is due to the cost of the item as a whole. A call with an Amazon rep got this turned into an exchange.

The second little gripe I have is with the paint. On the first and second item, the paint looked a little weird. Not really scuffs but I had to take a little polish to the panels to clean them up. Not a big deal, but if someone is paying close to or over 450 for this great package, and technically for a specific color, I would think the qc on the paint would be a better.

I popped an x570i Strix board with my 5900x and Strix 3080. Everything fit like a glove. The cooler does have a little whine in the pump but I keep the machine of to the side and have a fan on most of the time so it's not audible. I did change the top fans out though for the Silverstone Penatrator ARGB fans to get a little more flair but the stock fans were more than capable of get the hot air through the radiator. I matched these up with their 120mm Slimmer fans.

If you don't already have a computer built or want to downsize from an ATX build like my situation, this is the way to go. Be weary that the psu comes with 2x PCIE power cables that have 2 plugs daisy chained each. I don't really see this as a problem but I know there are disadvantages to this according to the internet pc building gods. I had a custom cable made anyway to add a third and there are plenty of people on etsy that can provide such a product or a full set of cables if needed. I paired this with a set of those 90 degree adapters too so it looks extra clean.

I think if Coolermaster sold this version of the case, without the psu, cooler, riser, etc, for the same price as the normal nr200, I think they'd still sell a ton. Great case overall, probably never going mid/full size build again because of it.
