These are my immediate impressions having put on the plastic film a few hours ago. I'll provide some long term feedback after a month of use, we'll see then how well it stays put or if it starts to peel off.
I've put on many products like this in the past for my phone / tablet / car sat-nav etc, ,so I'm familiar with how to put these types of things on. Overall it's pretty easy, just follow their "vague" instructions. You wipe it down with what is most likely an alcohol based wipe, then dry the surface with the dry cloth, then final wipe clean with the included cloth. The removal of the covers as you attach the film is a little tricky. I found a video of a similar product and it helped to watch it a few times to get the general idea. They always make it seem so easy. It's not hard but I can't do it in the 30 seconds they appear to mount it but it's not a race anyway.
You need to be patient and take your time lining up the film straight with the watch but that was easy to eye-ball. For the record I recently bought a cheap smart watch on Amazon for $50, I found this product by searching for items matching the 1.8 " screen size of my new watch. It's pretty much all the same stuff so just match the screen size to what you have and it should be good enough.
Initial quality feedback: It goes on rather simply just take your time and work on a clean surface. It was impossible to get all the air bubbles out, that is typical on most installs and it really doesn't make a difference with the screen on. With it off you can spot the imperfections but only if you look for them. The pictures I took make it look worse than it is. With the watch on my wrist you don't notice unless you're that anal type and well , good luck with that.
Now one area I did notice a negative change in is with the touch screen sensitivity. You are putting something between the watch and your finger. There is a noticeable decrease in the watches' ability to sense a touch or swipe but you get used to it quickly and adapt. It's there but not a deal breaker.
It's a rather inexpensive item that will keep my $50 smart watch from getting scratched up, my long term experience with various films is they last for 1-3 years before one of the edges starts to fail and peel away. They give you 6 of them (best value I found on amazon, most gave 1-3 of them).
Overall immediate impressions are that this is a good product , it should offer a good level of protection and will keep your screen from getting those nasty little scratches from day to day usage.
*** Update JUNE 18***
Just a few days into service and already a strip has torn off. -- See last 2 pictures-- I don't recall my watch hitting something that would cause the film to tear. Also, I don't bring my watch into the shower or get it wet so that is not the cause. I'll leave it like this for now and see if it peels any further . Then, I'll install another film and see if it stays on longer or tears like the first one.
