Magnification is acceptable. It's pretty easy to get the focus dialed in pretty quickly. Definitely easier to carry and get up to my eyes. I don't wear glasses, so I can't make any comments relating to that.
They are lightweight but don't feel particularly cheap. The lanyard is really just a string. Good enough for the weight, but I can see it breaking eventually.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the build quality. The slightly soft PVC coating is perfectly smooth without any mold marks. The two lenses pull apart smoothly and easily with nice damping. The central focusing knob turns smoothly with nice damping and has plenty of travel to allow precise focussing. I found the knob to be smaller than I would like but the size seems to have been kept small to allow the binoculars to fold up into a compact space for storage and it's perfectly usable.
The optics were better than expected. At the minimum focussing distance of 14 feet I could clearly read type that was under 0.2" (5mm) high. At 45 feet I could clearly read 1/4" type though it was a struggle to keep these light binoculars steady enough to do so. For comparison, that was approaching what I could read with a pair of 10 x 42 Zeiss binoculars with a higher magnification and costing about 25 times as much. Contrast was decent.
You can separately adjust the right lens if the eyesight of your eyes don't match. You get a carrying case with a belt loop and a permanently-attached neck strap. Both were adequate and should be durable enough but the material of the case was rather thin and the neck strap was thin but seemed strong. There are no lens caps, which is a bit unfortunate because the carrying case doesn't have a neck strap and you will need to put the binoculars back in the case either attached to your belt or in a pack or else leave the lenses exposed to the elements. A small microfiber cloth for cleaning the lenses is included. The product description says that the eyecups fold down for glasses wearers. What this means is that they're small and soft enough that you can can push it down if your press hard enough with your glasses; they don't fold back.
Overall, I think these binoculars are very usable, especially for users (like kids) who may not take good care of them or for use in outdoor environments where they might get damaged. You get a lot of value for your money. If you are planning to use binoculars regularly and have a larger budget, I'd also consider compact binoculars made by one of the Japanese manufacturers like Nikon.

The optics are good, and the right eye-piece can be adjusted, so any uneven eye-sight can be compensated. Just close your right eye and adjust the main focus in the centre on your target mark (like a tree), then close the left eye and match the focus by adjusting the right eye-piece. This is a simple procedure, that many get wrong, which baffles me!
Over the years, I learned to prefer small binos, either something like this set, or maybe just a wee bigger for stargazing, like an 8x35 set, but for daylight and dusk/dawn, this smaller size is just right.
I know that many will shout you need bigger, but that just gets heavy and tiring on your arms, but more importantly, with higher magnification, you see LESS, because you get too much hand-shake effect.
Nope, I really like this set, its optics are sharp, there is no noticeable chromatic abberation (i.e. no colour fringing on edges), it fits in a coat pocket, and the lenses are still big enough to see things even in somewhat dim conditions, like on a dark storm-cloud day :)
