Would highly recommend this item if you plan on getting any sleep in the first few months after bringing baby home.
We've used these on both of our boys (who were both born around 8lbs).
The size small is good until 14lbs or so, so we found it worked fine for the first couple of months regardless of some of the other reviews.
After a while it gets a little snug on the length and is noticeable in the leg area.
We didn't find this became so tight that baby was uncomfortable and were still able to use it. This could become an issue with longer babies I guess.
The material is good quality, soft, stretchy and the Velcro straps hold in place well.
Our first born would barely sleep the first few weeks until we discovered this product and it's been a total game changer ever since. We've since purchased the Large size as well until our youngest learns to rollover.
Very happy with this product and the extra sleep.
