I've been to quality salons, used demi, semi, permanent and even henna at this point.

I can 100 percent recommend this hair dye.

My hair is down to my chest. It does not dry out my hair, the color lasts quite a while (I shampoo my hair every single day) and it smells awesome. One box could do my whole head, but I like to really saturate it, so I buy two.

I used to go to Sally's and buy Wella, but this is much better. My hair looks much healthier and it's growing faster because of less damage and not having to cut it.

I won't use another hair dye ever again.

I tried both the 7G and 7. I started with a 9 and liked it, no problem with the 9 actually, however, it was not matching the rest of my hair. I should have left the 9 alone, or bought an 8, but I thought these colours wash out anyway, so I tried a 7G. That gold will never wash out of your hair. I tried everything. Vitamin C with Head and Shoulders, vinegar, baking soda, then finally a 20 volume with lightener, and then Color Oops - the gold is still there. I spent hundreds of dollars trying to ¨fix¨ this cheap 7G product. Do not apply 7G, unless you want your hair to turn orange! So yes, to cover the 7G up, I tried applying the 7. 7 is just a putrid colour, I hated it so much. Couldn't wait to get that out of my hair. My ends held onto it so hard. Just don't do it. Go to a professional colorist at a salon.

I’m not one for writing reviews but always rely on the reviews of others when I’m doing research on a product or service 😂 This time I just had to review this product! Background on me, I am an African American female in her 40’s and have natural hair that’s about half way down my back. I use heat no more than once a year and only use a wide tooth comb on bith mine and my daughter’s hair. So, I am very particular about my hair 😊 I was so afraid to color my hair on my own, but did research and decided to try this in black. I had previously had my hair colored about 5 months ago with permanent color and the individual was so super rough with my hair that I didn’t want to even let her touch up my color. Let me tell you, this product covered EVERY SINGLE GREY HAIR! And, I heard the temple area is the hardest to color. My hair was so soft and I have lots of hair and only used one box, but I would still order two just in case. I only touched up my edges in the front temple area and along where I wear my part. I’m so serious and I’m not paid at all for this review. Please give this a try. I did follow the directions verbatim except I shampooed my hair the same day. I rinsed the color out with slightly cool water in the shower and once the water ran clear, I commenced to shampoo with Shea Moisture for kids carrot and mango shampoo, which I’ve used for several years now on mine and my daughter’s hair and we both love it. I used the conditioner that came with the color also to deep condition my hair and used my normal TGIN Green Tea leave in as my styler along with Shea Moisture curl foam and flaxseed Eco styler gel. I also had no allergic reactions and I have very sensitive skin. I did not do a allergy test prior to using the color, though I would recommend doing that. Basically, this color is amazing, it didn’t blend the greys, they are completely gone.

I bought this to cover grey but didn't want to use amnonia. I am a natural redhead so I was very hesitant to do a dye at home. As I've gotten older my hair has gone more auburn so this color matched well. It's very easy to use just mix 1 and 2 etc and off you go. I however only wanted to do light highlights where my Grey's are so I mixed it up put it in a bowl.and used a fine mascara brush to comb it in to the spots I wanted. Now it is a little more on the red side but as my hair is naturally red it has so many different tones in that it blended very well. It smells good, not messy, easy to mix, and instructions are clear. It is a wash out dye so I think I'm on week 3 now and I can tell it's fading, but I do wash my hair everyday. I think that for the price if I had to do it once a month then it's worth it. Takes about half hr and I'm in my own house.

I love this brand, but haven't been able to find my color in the store. Home dye is a pain in the butt when you switch colors. I was paying $120 per visit to have my grey colored. When I decided to cut my hair and let it go grey, there was a stripe from previous colorings. It looked bad but I didn't want to go super short. The answer was to use a temporary color. This is the best brand I've found for actually staying a month before washing out. I don't shampoo every day so it took longer but I am happy with the result. The color looked natural even as it began to fade.
